3: Quit the app
4: Re-launch the The Field app. This should re-initiate and complete your download.
You will not be charged again for your purchase.

Following the update of iOS 6.1 we are getting reports from customers that the The Field Magazine app is crashing when there is no Wi-Fi connection present or if the iPad / iPhone is on Airplane mode. We are working on fixing this problem but at this time we advise customers against updating their devices to iOS 6.1 to continue enjoying your digital editions.

Great on the road version
Excellent magazine and support as well. Great having the The Field in my pocket just in case I have a few minutes between appointments to read some excellent writing and learn a few more things about the sporting life. This Magazine is on top of its game far better than any “hook and bullet” magazine we have here in the states. Regards and keep up the excellent work. Mark Szarek

ipad app freezes
The ipad app is prone to freezing up. I must uninstall and reinstall the app entirely in order for it to work again. It is the only app I have that does this. Closing and restarting the app does not work.

A fine read
I eagerly anticipate the arrival of my copy. As I live in the northwest corner of the U.S.A. I have a bit longer to wait than some. No matter, the Field is a fine read, I learn about dogs, birds, environmental upkeep of shooting grounds, guns, great recipes, fishing, the great shoots of the British Isles and much more. is the magazine for everyone, most likely not. However, I find it a very enjoyable periodical that reminds me there will always be, and should always be the great sports of fishing and shooting, and the love of training a fine working dog; things I believe, are truly British in nature. They are also things that are the heart of the British outdoors person. As for myself, I Love this magazine!!

Less expensive - same lavish layout
I had waited for the iPad version of the magazine and must say it does not disappoint. Although it is more expensive than many periodical offerings, it is less expensive than print version and allows you to easily to have the whole year at your fingertips for reference.
