Welcoming Space For Women Gamers ❤️
The gameHERS community is so welcoming and amazing to women & femme-presenting gamers! ❤️ If you’re looking for a safe space to come be yourself, then I can’t recommend this app enough! /// Their app is also very easy to navigate and very straightforward! Personally, I think the design is intuitive and simple! 😁 /// I would like to suggest a change, however! They main concern how notifications are read and received on the app. When you head to the bell notification at the top right corner, you’re met with all of the likes and replies to your comment or post. My issue is that the little badges for reacts and replies are both red. It’s a minor change but I think it would read better and be easier to distinguish if comments and reactions were different colors! Aside from that, however, I think the app is great!

Love this App and Love this growing Community
This is a great app and safe space for women and femme identifying people. The app is still very new so the community is still coming together and growing and I’m glad to be along for the ride from the beginning.
GamerHers is such a great idea, I know at some point most of us had imagined at some point of existing and it’s finally here and it has such great potential to be even better then it is now.
The inevitable trolls have shown up but so far the moderation of the app has been quick on taking care of creeps and trolls.
If any of the creators see this, keep it up. You’ve done some great work here and I’m honestly really excited to see where this goes from here 💖

Representation, Community & More
I have only been a part of the game hers app & community for a few weeks and it’s been so incredibly validating. As a 28 yr old woman (who grew up as a “tomboy”), playing video games was definitely frowned upon for girls. I’ve been playing since I can remember. I constantly faced harassment from boys & full grown men when I progressed into playing online. (Not to mention when they found out I wasn’t a white girl). It’s been unifying to speak on this same experience w other women & trans & nb folks. I’m so thankful for this app & the people I’m going to meet and befriend on it. Even just the welcome page is the most wholesome section of an app I’ve ever been on! Love yall. Thanks for bein you & doing what yall do.

The * game HERs app is amazing! Everyone is nice and welcoming and don’t be afraid to say hi in the new members forum! ☺️ The app is not confusing and it is easy to figure out especially with all of the forums. It is easy to find other like-minded individuals and to find out about games that you haven’t played and more. I wish I had this sort of app when I was younger because it would have made it so much easier when I played online games! It even would have made me like it more without the drama. Don’t feel silly for asking questions and don’t let your anxiety rule you, this app and the community is welcoming and supportive! ♥️

Amazing App!
This app and the entire community is so extremely sweet! It’s an app full of women empowering women, making lasting friendships and just being there for each other either through the groups in the app or on a game! This app has helped my anxiety so much! I have trouble making friends in person and the women on the app make it so much easier to just have a friend! I love it! It really shows how a community can be the same and different all at the same time! It’s no shame on what you play or what you feel because with this app you will find your gaming buddy match and a new friend! ❤️

Great way to connect when you’re stuck at home
I’ve never reached out to the gaming community because it felt too large and I was afraid to put myself out there as a casual gamer. But gameHERS has created a really welcoming and active space that I feel comfortable in. It feels really uplifting and the other community members are as eager to give support as they are receiving it. I’ve also enjoyed the events out on through the app. For example, I learned a lot about using my social media presence to connect with the community.

The gameHERS community is so welcoming and fun to be part of! This app makes connecting with like-minded women/femmes/non-binary gamers/cosplayers so simple and pleasant, especially in pandemic times. The app is simple to use & never feels like I’m giving too much or too little info out. I’d class myself as a casual gamer, but it doesn’t feel gatekeepy or exclusive there, and it has actually encouraged me to try out more games so I can share community and thoughts with even more folks on the app. Definitely a needed space, and one I’m glad to be part of!

I absolutely love what the organization stands for and the TGH app is the perfect place to feel welcome. The app is also very easy to use where you can talk with several people about certain topics, such as gaming, content creation and general talks! The app is super easy to use and has come a long way since it first opened. I had helped out with beta testing along with many others in the community to get it to where it is today. The community is a wide mix of people that all came together to support each other and create a safe environment for others. Definitely would recommend it to friends and family!

A welcoming organization filled with like-minded individuals that can’t wait to get to know you! I love that there is FINALLY a community that caters to the well-being, growth, and socialization of *gameHers* like myself! From creative cosplayers to tech savvy gamers, they have done a wonderful job at provided a space for everyone. The inclusivity provides a safe space that you may not find in other communities. SO glad that this platform is taking off and building bridges!
