Content of the story:
1. In one forest there are three close friends: a pig, a fox and a hedgehog. When they grow up, their parents tell them to find a job to have a better life.
2. The fox studies making furniture from wood. He wants to make tables, chairs, beds and many other things from wood of the tree.
3. The pig study planting rice on the field. He loves this job so much.
4. Little hedgehog doesn’t know what job is the best. He decides to go out to see what is good for him to do.
5. At first little hedgehog goes to see one of his close friend – little fox. Little fox is learning how to make funiture from wood with uncle deer.
6. Little hedgehog finds this job really interesting. He asks uncle deer: “Uncle deer! I really love this job. Would you please teach me like little fox?”. Of course uncle deer agrees and little hedgehog starts his lesson on making furniture.
7. Little hedgehog studies making furniture very happily. But one day he sees little pig passing by. Little hedgehog asks little pig “Hi! How are you recently? What job do you choose?”
8. Little pig answers: “I choose to plant rice and work on the field. I soon will have a lot of rice. I will use part of it for food, part of it will be sold in the market then I will have money”.
9. Little hedgehog thinks: “This job of making funiture is really hard and tiring. I have to spend all the day hewing, carving and it makes my back hurt. The job that little pig have chosen must be far better than my current job”.
10. After little pig leaving, little hedgehog come to meet uncle deer right away. He talks with uncle deer: “My dear uncle! I don’t want to study this job anymore. My back and my hands really hurt. I will join my friend pig to work on the field instead.”
11. Uncle deer says back: “Little hedgehog. Learning every job is hard, and making funiture is not an exception. But it would be great if you study your job well. So don’t quit my job so soon like this”. But little hedgehod answers: “No, my hands and back hurt, I can not work anymore. I am so sorry for this”.
12. Uncle deer feels very sad: “If you think this job is not good for you, then you can choose other job. I wish you will find a suitale one!”. Little hedgehog thanks uncle deer and say goodbye to him and little fox to go to little pig’s house.
13. Little pig teaches little hedgehog very carefully how to work on the field. Little hedgehog feels very great about this and seems to love the work. But one day when he and little pig is taking water from the river to the field, he sees little duck walking near. Little duck is wearing bucket full of fish and singing happily.
14. Little hedgehog asks the duck: “Hi, your bucket is really nice. What do you have in that bucket?” Little duck answers: “My bucket contains full of fish. I have just caught them this morning in the nearby river. Now I am going to the market to sell them to get some money.”
15. Little hedgehog starts thinking: “Maybe I should follow little duck to catch fish. I have worked on the field for quite many days but I still don’t harvest anything. Planting rice must be a harder work than catching fish. Just see little duck, how many fishes he has caught in only one morning?”
16. Little hedgehog quickly talks to little duck: “Your work of catching fish is such an amazing job. Would you be kind enough to let me go to catch fish with me? I love your job so much.” “But you are working on the field. How can you go with me?” Little duck talks.
17. “I am just helping little pig, but the work is done. This is his field, not mine. I can quit anytime. Don’t worry. Let’s me go with you!” Little hedgehog insists.
18. “That’s all right. Let’s go with me, I will show you how to catch fish and we will all have money.“ Little hedgehog is very happy. He stops his work on the field right away, say goodbye to little pig and follow little duck.
