Description

The Living New Deal is a public information and education project whose goal is to document and map all New Deal public works across the United States. This app allows the user to be an active participant in this project by providing a means for the user to capture pictures, videos, audio recordings and written messages, all tagged with GPS coordinates, and upload those media to be included in the main database.

Each photo and video carries with it its own GPS coordinates instead of sharing the GPS coordinates that are sent when the submission is made. Users were taking pictures and videos but then were waiting to upload their submissions until they got home which wasn't the correct coordinates.
