Excellent
This has to be my favorite; 1. because it’s long and 2. It’s contains the two pianos 3. It also has the best puzzles in my humble opinion. So because these are the type of games I enjoy, I went searching for others different than these. Well, I ended up abandoning most all other types of adventures for one reason or another. These have proven to be my favorite. They don’t take forever to learn them. A toil that is my least favorite about all games. When I pay for a game I don’t want to spend hours figuring out how to play. These also contain more clues and puzzles than any other adventure game; of which there seem to be few. These were different. The learning curve was minimal yet they are challenging and fun. But I hate it when it’s all over. That has to be the goal of any good game, is to have players regret when it’s completed.
I applaud you Syntaxity. Please make more as I have finished all of them. I assume that is what you are doing so let me say I support your efforts by which I mean I will gladly pay for these games as I would rather pay for a game than getting it for free.. I await your next adventure with great eagerness. I will keep checking back for future episodes of the lost?, or the missing? In ? Castle, no matter, I will be happy with whatever you come up with.
Thank you, Candy

A small treasure
I’m not entirely sure exactly why, but this game was a lot of fun to play. It just seemed like it “clicked” for me (point-and-clicked😬). The music was nice, though a bit repetitive. The navigation was spot-on: movement was fast and precise, interaction with objects was a breeze, and tools worked as they should on the first try (yay!). The puzzles were of average difficulty. Many of them had to be solved sequentially as they depended on each other for certain clues, but that seemed to add to the feeling of being on a journey. I also liked that not all objects had immediate application upon discovery; some things you found at the beginning didn’t make sense until later in the story. Additionally, some puzzles at the start couldn’t be solved until much further into the tale. For me, this helped give the game a bit more complexity and a somewhat satisfying feeling as I finally figured out how to solve that puzzle that I nearly forgot about. Certainly one of the more enjoyable of this genre that I’ve played, I whole-heartedly recommend this game and would consider investing in some of their other ones.
James Irion,
Simply a must-have
Syntaxity,

Since finally trying Blackthorn Castle last year, I was thoroughly impressed by the lack of glitches, smoothe gameplay with a functional and easy to use User Interface, explorative setting locations, challenging yet not too difficult to beat, quality graphics, realistic style, sound effects and music as well as the adventurous nature of these games. One after the other, I tried each game and delightfully found the same satisfaction in all (current) six.

Then, you released your bountiful update for the Lost Ship, which was originally much too short. Now seeing the pattern of adding similar updates and extra content, in order of original release, I eagerly await more to be released.

If I had to describe these games, in as few words, I would say they are honestly must-haves and instant buys for this genre. If a new game were to be released, I would buy it as soon as I found out about it. Having them all up to now is not enough because they are so satisfying. But there's more.

I discovered an interesting alternative to their replay value. Sure once you play them you might get tired. I liked Blackthorn so much I kept replaying it, but with an unexpected challenge I put to myself. Memory. I've repeatedly played them several times each as a way to stregthen my memory

So, I look forward to each new game/additional content Syntaxity releases. To be honest, you couldn’t release add-on or new game content fast enough.

Thank you.
Wild turkey101,
Great Adventure!
Really like this puzzle. Very addicting. Definitely worth the cost. No obnoxious ADDS!!!! About the same cost and much more enjoyable than an equivalent cost of a cup of coffee. Much more involved and interesting than the relatively short/easy room puzzles. Lots of challenging puzzles to solve. Try to solve them without the hints but sometimes a little overwhelming and a hint gets you over the hump. Totally worth the extra dollar for the skip to parts of the map feature as well as the extra dollar for hints (and video reveals if you need a hand getting by a roadblock). Don’t be cheap with these, I promise you they are worth the $2. Now, I’m bummed that I have to try to find something as good. It will be tough. Happy hunting!
Suzsho,
Wonderful game
Another fun game from Lone Wolf. I've played and enjoyed all three. Beautiful graphics, good controls, labeled inventory. There's a map but not transporting so there's a lot of back and forth but with the very fast scene transition, it goes quickly. I don't mind the back an forth as it's good memory exercise for me. There are a LOT of locations but still not too many like some games I've tried. Good puzzles, some are pleasantly easy, some more challenging, (you need to look VERY carefully in some scenes), it has an integrated hint system, and the game is quite long especially for the price. Overall, a very satisfying , well priced game. Thank you, Lone Wolf!
N2k88dsl,
Quite a challenge!
This game had a lot of very different puzzles to solve. You never know when you will have to go back to a much earlier screen to unlock a chest or use a clue or item you’ve collected. One item is used in a couple of places so you have to remember to pick it up and carry it along.
This game will take some time to solve. Can’t tell you how many time I picked up a key or gained a clue and then had to wander around trying to recall where I needed a key or where that clue might help. If you like a challenge and don’t mind spending hours on a game, this one is for you!
Kroz Hog,
Lots of Puzzles
I like this game. Like the other Syntaxity games, there are a lot of puzzles to solve; even more so in this one. The puzzles are fairly challenging, but hidden clues and a little thinking should get you through without hints. The map is large, and if you don’t purchase the “fast map” option, you will spend some time backtracking and roaming, but I’d rather have that than a short, finite environment. Overall, Hunt for the Lost Treasure is a good way to spend a few hours, and measures up well to Blackthorn Castle and Enchanted Worlds, two other Syntaxity games I like. This game isn’t at the level of the Room and House of DaVinci games, but it’s a perfectly decent point and click puzzler.
Mumz1k,
Thumbs up
One of a very few developers that make such creative and well made point and click escape games. Every aspect of each game is thoroughly thought through. Mini games are fun and challenging. Wonderful “fast travel” option helps not to get lost in wondering around the locations while trying to find the clues or return to them, as well as does the “snap shots” option. I’ve given the same 5 star review to every Syntaxity game I have played as they are all excellent!
Nisey1226,
Set brightness on high
Some of the puzzles, especially toward the end and the last one in particular simply cannot be seen on the iPhone unless the brightness is at the highest level and even then a magnifying glass would be useful. The clue on the tree with the four Aztec symbols is way too small to make out the important details between them. It would be a good idea for the developers to go through this game on iPhone and perhaps either enlarge the detail or improve the contrast in the critical clue places where the tiny screens of our phones require it.

Nevertheless I enjoyed the game. Thanks.
musingmom,
Not fun
I've played a lot of games like this, this is one of my least favorite. The one thing I do like is the rapid travel from one scene to another although having to purchase that is crappy. This game is would never be winnable without having the clues book directing every step (again, having to buy that is no good). The map is so big that workout the direct travel it would be impossible and, the map makes no particular sense as to how it all fits together. Some of the puzzles were straightforward but some needed even just a tiny clue of instructionmi only solved this due to heavy use of the book and the video clues, which makes the game much less satisfying, and I cannot recommend it.
