Really Good!
I played this game not to long ago in school and when school ended I got this game. It’s actually really good! Better that I thought and is a great way to pass some time

Works fine, but brain-dead AI needs work.
As the above title indicates, this game is ok. It works. You’re shown a very short add after every game, so the adds aren’t that intrusive. Where this game’s big problem lies is in it’s AI. The AI needs a LOT of work. Even at the highest difficulty, the computer opponent makes horrible mistakes that it just shouldn’t be making. I’ve had numerous games where the computer opponent had me officially beat on the next move, only to watch it move the wrong pieces or put a piece somewhere else, almost intentionally, it seems, pushing ME into the win position. I haven’t lost a game, or been challenged in any way. And I’m by no means a strong player of this game. So the AI needs a lot of work. The game offers no challenge at all and seems to want to help you beat it, sometimes, even on the hardest level. So. In conclusion: The game works, looks ok, adds, while there, aren’t too intrusive, but the AI is awful.

Great, but one problem
In my opinion, this game is okay but would be better if you just improved one thing, the AI bot thingy. So I see many people complaining about it and I think I could agree with there complaints the AI robot is very stupid and does not know how to play games. So I really like winning games and it’s satisfying when I win one but I keep winning this game cuz of the bot and winning every round just gets kind of annoying. Other than that, the game is better than all the other mill games. 😪

Great, but some problems
I really love this game, and it is a faithful recreation of the original! The app does what it set out to do. Unfortunately, three things stop this app from being the best it can be.
1) The game crashes nearly every time you win by blocking an opponent in
2) The AI is too easy. Hard mode seems promising, but it barely uses more strategy than easy. There should be a harder setting.
3) There’s an achievement where you need to play 1,000,000 matches. Assuming each match takes ~35 seconds (it will take more though), that’s 405 days of playing this game. That’s over a year of just playing this game. The achievement is practically unobtainable and will only exist to mock me whenever I open my app.
Other than those three things, the app is really fun and you should give it a try!

It’s alright
Repetitive game obviously but my one complaint is the difficulty settings. The hard difficulty is just so easy it’s very hard to lose this game vs the computer. I’d like more of a challenging difficulty to play against otherwise the game works fine and is by no means bad just like I said if your not vs a friend and you go against the computer it’s not much of a challenge.

Compulsively Entertaining
Love this game! I played it long ago as a kid, & it didn’t take long to re-learn it. There’s something fascinating about it. My only complaint is that at the hardest level, when it can “fly”, it won’t make the glaringly-obvious-move, & so it loses. Almost all the time. Unless I’m not paying attention. From this I conclude that it’s just not as smart as a human.

Fun but Game Breaking Bug
I just got into Nine Men’s Morris, and I had to get an app. I enjoy this app so much more than any other Mills app, but every time I win a game via blocking an opponent from moving, instead of saying I won, my app just crashes to my home screen, and doesn’t count the win. This is a common win method for me, so it’s frustrating not being able to log my win in the app.

Needs a smarter computer opponent.
It's a game for beginners who don't know how to play, but is so easy to the computer. There could have been many times the computer could have beat me but that hasn't happened yet. Even on the hardest level I could still beat the computer. I wish it was a little more challenging.

I’m addicted to The Mill
I was so happy to find this game in the app store. I like it a lot except that the hard version is not hard enough. I’m in the top 1% and would like more of a challenge without going to live opponents.

How do change the freakin settings?! I’ve been stuck playing easy mode because the difficulty level setting doesn’t pop up for me!!! 🤬 it’s so frustrating trying to find out by looking online and not finding anything!!
