We’re pleased to announce the launch of our newest streaming audio channel, “The 330.” The 330 devotes an entire platform, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to local and regional music. In alignment with its hyper-local and community-centered mission, The 330 features the past, present and future sounds of individual artists and bands with roots in the station’s primary Ohio-based service areas, including Akron, Canton, Youngstown and Cleveland.

Great app for a great station
The app consistently performs as expected. The ability to see the songs being played, pause when necessary, and get access to exclusive content are all fantastic. I’ve been listening to this station online for over a decade and I appreciate how easy to stay connected to the station no matter where I am in the world (I’ve listened in places as far away as Beijing and Jakarta).
Finally, in this day and age where we have a nearly unlimited supply of “stations” curated by algorithms or corporations, I love the variety of music you cannot hear together anywhere else. Thank you Summit for continuing to be awesome.

Great station, good app
The station? 5 stars all the way. I have this app going most of the day and it hasn’t had any problems. There are a few things I’d really like that would push it to five stars for me though…. A full-screen mode that shows the artist/title/cover only for when I am streaming from the iPad. It would be nice to see appropriately sized album artwork from across the room. Most important for me is audio fidelity. The music is so awesome that it deserves high quality stream, and going through quality stereo or headphones makes compression distracting at times. Also, a bit better organization of studio C/Z sessions available there, and access to streams of the sessions as they are released to the local PBS. Really, I feel bad giving just 4 stars here as the station is so great. I think developers may only read comments with less than 5 stars though ;)

Love it
I love that it's commercial free, and that they play local artists, as well as more "unknown" artists. My favorite band is Bad Suns, and this is the only radio station I've ever heard play them! They have a little bit of everything. It's also awesome that they have the recovery segment at night that includes positive sayings, messages and songs, helping those who have been/are addicted, or suffer from mental health issues. This is a great program! I highly recommend downloading it.

Love the Summit, love listening on my smartphone
This station is the BEST. I’ve been listening since high school (about 10 years) and love discovering new artists as well as bands from my parents’ generation. I love that they play local artists and support the Akron/NE Ohio community.
The app works as expected- I can easily listen to the station on my smartphone while I’m at work and not miss out on cool things like the current top 330 songs ever played that they’re doing right now!

Nice app and radio station
My brother turned me onto this app since both originally from Youngstown. Love the playing of different genres of music and sharing tunes of local artists. It is always nice to hear new music and of course, the classics. The DJ’s commentary is educational and think their excitement about the music is sincere and entertaining. App plays well.

I’m so glad this app is available since moving out of the Akron area. Having been a Summit member in the past I appreciate that I can can still listen even though I am not able to catch them over the airwaves.

Great App, Great Station!
Love that I can listen to my favorite station at home. I live just slightly out of the signal’s range, so, I’ve only been able to listen in my car when I’m driving closer to town. But, now I can listen anytime I want and it’s great!

The Summit is my favorite radio station...it’s the only reason I turn the radio on when I drive. Moving to Cincinnati from the YO was difficult, but I’m glad I can at least take this excellent station with me wherever I go!
