2 Years of all car makes and special functions too. I’m only about $300 into it!
What a smoking deal for a scanner that does what $3000 scanners do for only 300. I’m sick and tired of these scanners that nickel and dime you to death with expensive up front cost and expensive yearly subscriptions. I bought my ThinkDiag blue tooth scanner for about 120 with two free 1 year auto subscriptions and I chose GM and Ford for the freebies. I then bought VW and Toyota which was another 80 bones and I was thinking that “oh no I just bought another Snap-On device that will end up costing me thousands up front and around a thousand each year for everything”. Yesterday all my worries were flushed down the toilet. Another 130 bones for all car makes and special functions enabled for 2 years. You better get on this band wagon. For new users you pay 300 total for the ThinkDiag hardware with all cars makes enabled and all special functions enabled for 2 years before having to pay again. Thank you ThinkDiag for not wanting to become a financial thorn in my foot.

Cant scan new model years?
Im a technician for a Chevy dealership in Tulsa, OK. I chose GM, Chevy, etc. for my 1 year free subscription to a software package. While we have scanners that are issued to us to use I decided to try out this new toy on a 2023 Equinox that came in for a CEL diagnostic. Well long story short I apparently didn't get the software for new model years past 2019 when i bought this toy. I call it a toy because its a neat gadget and all but is lacking in some pretty serious ways that a professional technician needs to have ready access to in their daily grind. I had hoped to be able to use this new toy on makes and models that were not GM vehicles mostly but also wanted it for GM cars and trucks due to our issued MDI scanners and laptops sometimes taking an excessive amount time to do whatever we are needing done. Well my hopes and dreams for this little venture crashed and burned. I will say its handy to pull codes and do actuation tests on 2019 and earlier vehicles. But for anything newer than 2019 i have yet to be able to use it. Sry for any spelling errors. Im currently typing and not being able to see the words as everything here below the subject line is 100% blank. So theres that too. I guess they dont want bad reviews or any reviews at all to be posted lol t did

Awesome product
I bought the ThinkDiag on Kickstarter because it looked promising and I wasn’t let down. This has replaced my much more expensive diagnostic tool because for me I am only paying for the vehicle software I use. I’m not working on skodas or Peugeots where I live so I don’t have to pay for them. I can still do all of the test and diag functions that my $1500 scanner could at 1/10 of the price. If I do have an issue the customer service replies promptly and my issue is resolved. I have since purchased their tpms tool on Kickstarter and am waiting for that to arrive.

Packs a big punch
Let me tell ya, for such a small device, this thing is packed with all options and features. The capabilities of this tool are far more extensive than a scan tool that cost five times more. The software package is unbelievable, and the special functions are easy to use, and explained clearly. I only gave it a four star simply because it’s an able to pull dodge SKIM codes for key programming on any of my 2001–2003 dodge vehicles that I own. Otherwise incredible machine for the more incredible price than any other scan tool I’ve ever used. It’s size alone makes it so portable and easy that anybody can use it. Well, maybe some people are just idiots.

New update 2.3.0 won’t open app. Whatever they did weeks before finally got my checkin/coins working correct. Should have double+ the bonus coins for checking in, but that never worked correctly…… NOW THIS! Starting to regret my purchase more daily. With something always going wrong/changing unexpected. Definitely can’t be relied on in a time of need. About to just take the kick in the 🥜, and buy the competitor like I should have.
Have had Chevy vin show up as Buick, and other GM products. Have had to manual enter vins when it’s recognize them in the past. Had some Honda vins in health scan start running test like the cars where diesels. But the basic fault scan Selection recognize the vehicles as a gasoline engine like they were.

Best app and device
I am very impressed with this device and the program, which cost me a very low price for various things. If I had not known this device and searched for it and the special program in it, I would have spent more than 1000 dollars on devices that provide the same performance. I thank the company all thanks and appreciation to you for what you provide to people from during this distinguished programme. I am very happy with the capabilities of this scanner.

Great Tool. Okay Software
As far as the tool itself goes. It’s fantastic. However the software really holds it back. About 80% of the of the Special Functions that are shown as supported and capable of doing don’t even show up on the app to be able to perform. Half of the time the ones that are supported don’t even function correctly. Nor do I even have the option to select the Blackbox feature or the Online Support/Remote Diagnosis feature that allows a technician to screen share with you so they can see exactly what your trying to fix.

Only thing that keeps it from a 5 considering the price and high functionality is that when i have many diagnosis’ on a page, it scrolls to the next page as soon as i get to the bottom data point or the previous page as soon as i get to the top. A “Next Page”/“Previous Page” addition would be nice.

One great app
Always thought that a decent bi-directional scan tool was out of range for my small 1 man shop. But I’ve used it less than a week and already made my money back. Still just a bit of a learning curve but no tool is perfect, but this one is close.
