Great online college for adult students
I really like the flexibility and options available to complete your degree. The mentors are helpful and I haven’t had any technical issues. I believe the App needs to be updated to be more user friendly. I find that it’s not very helpful to do much but view information and chat with other students attending the university.

The best school I have ever attended.
I love the flexibility I have with all my courses. I thought I would be overwhelmed for taking 12 credits whiles working full time and also spending some time with my family but it has been pretty cool so far. Also, I have incredible course mates and my Mentors are very helpful as well. I am recommending this school to all my friends and loved ones.

Excellent path to complete a degree
While the app has some glitches sometimes with the login process, the actual education and support system offered at TESU has been excellent. You take away what you put into the classes and coursework. All of the mentors have been supportive and the resources offered to me as a student have been great.

Not really functional
This app is slightly better than not having one at all, but it’s so unreliable that I just use my laptop to access my courses anyways. In theory you can see discussions and post to them, but they take forever to load, regularly tell you that you have to sign out and sign in again to see them, and then sometimes discussions aren’t all there (and it’s always the ones I actually need that are missing! Maybe because other people are posting to them?). You also can’t see course documents, which I could live with if the main feature this app does have (discussions) functioned.

I’ve given this app so many tries, but it just doesn’t live up to expectations
I have had to restart my phone, uninstall and reinstall the app, and contact support for this app more times than I would like to admit. Currently it only shows the rosters for my courses and no other information. I wish this app was easier to use to do assignments on the go, but it only really allows me o respond to forum posts. I’ve had the app since it first came out and it’s really glitchy. I thought time would make it better, but it hasn’t. I really wanted to like this app, but I just don’t.

Best of 5 universities so far
Over the past decade, I have attended five universities completing my degree. By far, this is the best. Full disclosure...continuity of “use” across all courses is different and should be improved. However, the professors and mentors are top notch. TESU gives maximum credit for military experience/training and offers various degree paths to complete your undergraduate degree. I’ve got 12-months left and I’m not looking back.

Needs a Lot of Work
I appreciate that the school/ developers have revamped the app but a lot of the important functionality such as viewing full discussion posts, grades, assignment due dates, etc aren’t working. For instance, I know there are 13 posts to a discussion but I can only see the first 2. If I attempt to view my own posts, it’s empty. The grades are not populated. Honestly, this app is almost counter productive. I would have preferred they released the updated app when it was completed. I’m giving two stars because it does give notifications relatively quickly.

I want it to work
This is the second time I have downloaded this app, with the hope that I could use it to keep up with school work. It is honestly just easier for me to log on through my web browser on the phone than try to use the app. I can’t access course documents, schedules, course videos, and so many other items. Adjusting notifications doesn’t really stop them. Discussions are slow to load.
Please keep trying. It could be a great tool if you develop the aspects a student needs to use.

Reinvented app. Worse problems
Not too long ago (about 6 months ago) they had the app completely redone. It looks sleek, modern, up to date. The works. However when they flipped to the new design they left out quite a few things that the old app had.
The ability to perform your entire class through the app:
-View all the discussion
-See & Work on your discussions and replies without having to try and find it in notification.
-Due dates from your class, in your class.
-Individualization of classes with ability to work / view them the same as it is online
-All the course info you needed for your class (like it is online)
-And the list continues
Positive side:
-If you like the public TESU student wall it’s nice.
-You can add a lot more of your own information ie calendar updates.

TESU app
It has been quit helpful as a new student. Not many instructions from staff but I was able to find my way around. It maybe frustrating for a student that is not computer or an app. User. All in all I like and getting friendly with the app.
