Description
Tile Match is take on the classic childhood memory game. After a five seconds to memorize the pictures on each tile, they are turned face down, and players must turn over matching pairs to clear them from the board. Once all the pairs are matched, the timer stops, and players have an opportunity to enter their initials for the leaderboard.
This is a submission as coursework for the Mobile Development Bachelor of Science track offered by Full Sail University in which I am presently studying. I developed this over the course of a week to demonstrate an understanding of certain Swift programming language features, iOS development objectives, and general problem solving. It is not a full feature application developed with any plans for expansion or long term support via upgrades, bug fixes, and such. It is showcased here mainly as a portfolio piece to show prospective employers, to share with friends and family, and to be enjoyed by anyone who finds it fun.
The tile artwork is by a anonymous contributor of Full Sail University, the music is by Eric Matyas at SoundImage.org, and the sound effects are by ZAPSPLAT! at ZapSplat.com. App layout and logic is by me.
