Known as San Diego’s “jewel box” of fine art, the Timken is the only free art museum in Balboa Park. Art education and accessibility are the heart of the Timken's mission. Visitors are encouraged to take their time, to explore and look closely at centuries of artistic genius and to use the Timken's app as a tool to experience the collection.
