Experiment with plant characters, evolve them into new species and discover their unique personalities. Keep collecting plants until you’ve collected them all! The world of science just got a little bit weirder and a lot more fun with Toca Lab: Plants!
Just like with the first app in the Toca Lab Series, Toca Lab: Elements, your curiosity will lead the way. Choose your plant, then visit five different locations in the lab:
● Grow light: Shine the light on your plant and watch what happens! Does your plant bask and happily sigh in the light, or groan and wriggle away? What happens when you turn the light up a notch or two?
● Watering tank: Put your plant in the tank and fill it up with water. Will your plant float? How does your plant behave when it’s soaking wet?
● Nutrition station: What’s the optimal diet for your plant? Try the three different nutrition formulas and discover which ones your plant character likes!
● Cloning machine: Spin the wheel on the cloning machine and before you know it, you’ll have five little versions of your plant. Wonder what the clones can do? Experiment and find out!
● Crossbreeding apparatus: Here you can mix two plants to create something unexpected. Try it and see what happens!
Have fun experimenting at each station to see how the plants evolve. Keep experimenting until you’ve collected all 35 plant characters in the app. Once you’ve collected a plant, keep experimenting to continue to evolve it! Who says kids can’t be scientists? I love it but it glitches when you try to mix the plants
I love this game and then this like one of the best games I've played so far but when you mix the plants it glitches out of the game and then you can't get back into the game when it's loading so I recommend this game but please please please please please fix this glitch or else I might just just delete this game because it makes me and my brother mad my brother started crying because he couldn't play the game so please please please please please please please fix the game I don't know if I should give you all five stars because I'm trying to mix the plants and it's just UGG I love love love this game but please please please fix it

Hello! Welcome to my review! I love Toca Lab Plants so much, as the title implies. I was first introduced to it by my cousins and I just loved the silliness and the cuteness! The plants have very unique and colorful designs, which is a plus! I also like how Toca Boca added the names and scientific names of the plants, which is very helpful to those who want to learn more about plants! Each little plant character is so, so fun. It makes me sad that the plants can wither a bit if they get too much of the heat lamp, though. I love this game, but I believe it can be completed a little too quick. I finished it on the second day I had the game, and although it is super fun, I wish there were more additions to the game, such as adding a lot more plants. Possibly prehistoric plants! There could be like a little time machine icon, you click on it, there are colorful swirls while the prehistoric “lab” is loading, along with little plants swirling and twirling, and TADA! You’re back in the Mesozoic Era! Please add this because I want to be a paleontologist some day and I would love to learn more about prehistoric plants! I Toca Boca after I finish Toca life elements there was not much to do and I heard this app is similar I was so excited on my first plant and then mom called me so I had to log out when I got back I want to the app I was basically in there for two minutes until it glitched me out or whatever you call it I’m so angry at you I always gave each of your apps a good review looking at your writing you say collect them all and this problem is not just going on with me it’s crazy you said you should fix this app right now there’s so many reviews on it and I guess you’re just sitting on the couch doing nothing checking your reviews and you’re like (oh everybody hates her app ha ha ha ha)

Amazing game but stopped working sept 2020
My kids love this game but ever since September of this year it stopped working, right after the title screen loads, the app closes every time. There was a recent update in October but it didn’t fix the problem and many people are still purchasing the game!!! To everyone looking to buy this game, wait until you see this get patched otherwise your going to waste your money.
FYI when you purchase an app you’d expect there not to be any ads in the game but Toca Boca has ads leading the kids to more of there very expensive and not educational apps. Very low standards for this company which used to be full of cool, fun, educational games. It seems they pay a lot more attention to their new mindless apps where kids beg their parents to buy more crap everyday because of all the “special characters” the kids click on which are ads disguised as part of those games.

Please, please please add new plants
The game is phenomenal, the creativity and style, its the perfect plant game. i believe that this game should continue to update, and add new features. The game is very fun but with only 35 plants when there are 100’s of Subspecies’s of plants that can be explored, tropical plants like philodendron and things like that. Also a station to have 10 pots to grow more of the plants(and i did love how you had to collect water, that was a very nice little touch). I do get that this is a kids game to explore the basics of botany but, you could release plants packs or something, like $0.99 for a pack of 20 new plants. i feel that it would do very well, i would personally buy them.

❗️DO NOT PURCHASE❗️Cannot even open the game
Just purchased this game, it gives me the welcome and the screen that allows you press the play button and begin the game. Shortly after that, it loads for quite some time, and then brings me right back to my personal home screen. I deleted it, thought it was because my phone wasn’t updated, updated my phone, reset my phone, but clearly it is on the developers side. This game has been out many years, as seen from the comments and their age, so you would think they could have fixed this problem by now. Do not waste your money, I love Toca because their games are very easy for my mind, but this is just devastating and disappointing. I never thought i would have to read the reviews for a Toca game, but I stand corrected.

This game is super cool and fun to play. But there are some glitches with the coconut tree, the green and red, and the mosses, andreaea, hypnum moss, glittering woodmoss, Red bogmoss, and the blunt leaves bogmoss. Can you please give me an update of the glitch fix? Super duper extremely please? I hope you fix this glitch. I’ll still have fun with the plants. I’m not sending it back to the App Store. According to my apps, deleting apps is restricted due to Qustodio VPN. First of all, Qustodio is a parental control app for your child. And second of all, a VPN is a virtual Private Network. But if you ask me, VPN means Vice President Needs.

Some plants look crooked
This used to be my favorite game after the issue it was finally fixed but the coconut tree has a broken leg it’s crooked also some other characters look backwards like some characters have a upside down mouth it’s so weird and a little creepy? mind fixing it? thanks and then when i go to the thing to make rare characters all the characters that I have get white eyes with nothing on it just plain White so once I made a rare character The screen made a shake movement and it’s not even that heavy! mind fixing it again? thanks for reading!

I LOVE THIS GAME but note to developers whenever I mix plants it always crashes and brings my out of the app and when I go back in it crashes again and Again AND AGAIN so I have to delete it, two choices either YOU KEEP THE GAME BUT NEVER SEE YOUR PLANTS AGAIN, OR DELETE IT AND HAVING TO REDO EVERYTHING FROM THE BEGINNING AND TO LET EVERYONE NOW THERE ARE LIKE 64 PLANTS TO MAKE AND TO JUST HAVING TO RESTART FROM THE FIRST PLANT IS HORRIBLE just please fix the bug as soon as you can I don’t want to keep on deleting all my progress over and over again

Doesn’t work
Okay so I got the pack with Toca lab elements and Toca lab plants today and I was playing the plants one and I was just playing it until I wanted to play another game and I was getting off to play another game and I played that for a bit until I wanted to play the Toca lab I got on it and sent me to the home thing with the play button, so I pressed the play button and it loaded, until it sent me into my Home Screen. So I restarted my phone, deleted the app and reinstalled it, checked if there were updates but nothing worked. Please look into this I am begging I really like this app.
