Fantastic app! We love it
Have you tried to put your child on the phone or FaceTime with their grandparents?
How long would you say the conversation would last on average for a 4 years old?
In our home, before using this app, our kids would be pointing the camera to the ceiling, grandparents asking questions while the children are running all over, we (parents) asking the children to tell grandma about this and that, and the call ending without much success engaging the kids.
This app is fantastic as it provides a perfect way for interaction, engaging the children while providing grandparents with a easy way to spend time reading, drawing or playing games with them.
Parents, you can even have a good half a hour for yourself while the child is entertained by your parents!!

Edit: I’m updating my review based on the developer comments. My 5 year old uses this app with various family members usually once a day. The games are simple enough for her but engaging enough for grownups. There is a huge selection of books available to read together. I’ve added our own books too, and the interface for doing that is intuitive.
This has been a really great app to have while we are socially isolating when I need a few minutes alone, or to care for the baby, or when my daughter needs another person to talk to. And likewise, grandparents need someone to talk to too.

Great idea but fees are disproportionate and double dip
Tried this app out with a few family members (we live in different countries with young children). In theory it was great - the kids were really engaged and enjoyed it. Unfortunately when we looked in to purchasing a subscription the price had gone up and it’s only for 20 hours for both incoming and outgoing calls which is a bit opportunistic, especially considering the current world situation and with occasional quality lags/sudden app closure. A 20 hour limit was already a bit mean for the monthly fee but we probably would’ve gone for it even with the issues if we weren’t losing hours both ways with calls. Shame to see this approach from the developers and seems a lost opportunity to build up users (the double charge approach lost them five new subscribers in my family alone).

Not happy with this app!
I downloaded this app on my phone as well as on my son’s iPad. After I configured my account, I tried configuring a child’s account but kept being told that the email address was already in use although the app asks for my name, my child’s name and my email address. I could not find any other directions on setting up his account so I created a separate account using his email address but now the s
6-month subscription that I purchased is not linked to his email address and I don’t want purchase another. Additionally, I can call him from my phone using the app but I cannot get the sound to work. I have checked all the settings and voice and video are both enabled.
I think it’s a great concept if it worked but After several hours of trying to get it to work...I just want a refund!!

Great app. Very pleased.
We have three kids. Ages 3, 5, and 8. They speak with all their grandparents much more often since we found this app. Before they would only greet them briefly. Now they draw together. Read books and play games. My son was never interested in speaking on the phone, I’m happy I found a way for him to interact with family and friends from far away. The app is very good. My three year old learned some of the functions before I did. We love together!

Wonderful app to keep you get children engaged
Original review: I learned about this app from our school (k-12) which has partnered high school students with our lower school students. My son in K was able to practice reading and play games with his tutor.
Update Dec 2020: it has been a few months later and I can only share good things about the together app. It has allowed my children to connect with other family members and church friends. My kids can practice reading, drawing and playing all sorts of games.

Great for grands & any long distance relationship
We just bought a subscription because the time passed way too quickly with my granddaughter! There are a wide variety of games to play. I can even play “adult” games with my daughter, so this will help connect us to our long distance family.

Great concept but drains battery on iPhone
The app experience is great, and my daughter really enjoys the games and activities. However, the 30min trial calls have ran my battery very low each time from full charge, and my iPhone (SE 2) gets very hot. This happens on the other phone I called too, with both of our phones unplugged during the call.
I do not have an iPad to compare battery performance (perhaps this app runs fine on a device with a better battery and power system), but until this app can run without making my phone hot to the touch, I cannot commit to a subscription.

Grandma LOVES this one!
My grandkids are 3000 miles away and haven’t seen them for over a year. This app is the best way to connect with them and play. WE all love the “Together App” and play it whenever we can.
It’s fun, has several games /activities, NOT contagious, mobile (can play anywhere), educational, teaches patience & sportsmanship, fairness, sharing, and lots of laughing!

This is a great app!!!
My 6 year old granddaughter and I play on this a few times a week! So many fun games to keeps her engaged ! Very user friendly, as she navigates her way on her own, which gives her family a break!! She and I both enjoy our quality time with each other using this app! What a fun way to stay connected when we don’t live close by! 👍🏼sometimes the screen freezes not sure who’s end its on
