A Response to the Bad Reviews
I’ve played this game for a couple of years and currently rank in the top 30 and I want to address some of the negative reviews.
Pay to Win: yes, you can spend money and level up faster. However, I’ve only had the battle pass ($10/month) and just recently started the monthly gem pass ($10/month) and have leveled up to max cards for my main deck in a couple years. Spend money if that’s your thing, but not needing to spend a lot is one of my favorite aspects of this game.
Unfair Match Making: this just isn’t the case. The match making is the same as other games like clash of clans. If you win, you earn trophies. If you lose, you lose trophies. If you’re good, your trophy count will be really high and you’ll play people with higher card levels than you. As your cards level up, you will compete at higher trophy levels.
Cheating: it’s happened in the past but doesn’t exist at all now. People that complain about cheating typically don’t understand the game fully yet.
Rush Attacks: lots of people rush, it’s an easy strategy especially at lower skill levels. However, there are also plenty of strategies that counter the rush. Join the discord channel and learn strategies more quickly.
Lack of Support: the support in this game is actually the best I’ve ever experienced. Just join the discord channel and it’s super easy to get the help you need.
If you like strategy games and don’t want to spend a fortune, this is a great game to try.

Please make a NO RUSH option in match making !!
I’m spending MONEY on this game and you guys need to WAKE UP or lose the $$ spenders for sure ! First this is a great strategic game first and foremost…nice concept and strategy …It helps to spend some $$ no doubt (I’m probably a few hundred in) but yits getting ridiculous…the one GLARING problem is as you advance higher and higher , the game starts turning into non stop RUSH the other side with no chance to enjoy it. Players will either QUIT (should be penalized) before they lose or rush you with no chance to build up. The game becomes very pointless quick and as you guys run promos for gems and other treats , other players simply don’t care and rush anyways leaving no chance to collect promo stuff? Please fix what is otherwise a great concept or I’m gone and stop spending $$….You guys need to invest on better matchmaking and no rush options !!

Support is difficult to find.
I have a paid subscription and enjoy the game very much. I’ve encountered very few problems with the game. However, I recently tried to open a Golden chest using a Golden key. When i did that the game froze up. So, i closed and reopened the app. When I went to check on the chest, it remained unopened. I tried again to open the chest, using another Golden key, and again the game froze. So, again I closed and reopened the app. And Again, the chest remained unopened while a second key had been taken. I cannot find any other way to air my frustration to someone who might be able to help me except on this open forum. It’s a great game, and I’ve received “in game” rectifications of issues they’ve discovered in the past, but as an individual, I have no idea where to get support.
Update: they gave me the Golden keys back.

Great Strategy Game
There are a lot of mixed reviewed of this game but it is my go to game. It’s not a money trap if you play smart and knock out the campaign before starting PvP play. There is a lot of strategy to the game play which includes how fast you upgrade and how far you upgrade. Also troop movements are super important. Any troops not in a tower don’t count to it’s cap which is a move I’ve been used again and again. You can have 3 towers with a cap of 50 each and move troops between them to essentially have another tower worth of troops if you time it right. Well done development team! You’ve done well.

Unbalanced matchmaking
It was a fun game for a bit, but there are some units that are sorely over powered (inquisitor), and the match making is WAY off. The gist is that every unit has a strength or special ability and a weakness. The problem is with unique units like the inquisitor who can pass through neutrals, but also has better attack AND def at lower unit lvl than the majority of other units. Also, be ready to play against people almost twice your player lvl. Why, at lvl 12, am I facing people at lvl 23?!
The issue with the units is most likely an intended flaw to get people to pay for over powered units, and the match making issue is either due to new players paying to lvl up and running into me on their way up, or higher lvl people purposefully dropping to lower tiers to face weaker opponents for whatever reason.
Either way, I’m not going to give money to a game that incentivized pay-to-win, or matches you with people twice your lvl to frustrate you into buying into the pay-to-win scheme. I’m deleting and would not recommend.

Unethical game play developers allow
The game developers support unethical play that 100% goes against their “community” guidelines which is really all they are. Their only concern is money. If you like to spend a lot of money. This is your game. You will thrive l, rise to the top, and be able to do anything you want to do. No skill will be needed. Make a name for yourself. If you have skill and not that much money this game is not for you. You will only get frustrated and quit. The game recently during a week long event had some players do some unethical play. It was blatant to all. They used a loophole which in the “community guidelines” says that type of play will get you banned and it’s against the “community guidelines. But since these players spend enough well you guessed it. They are sweeping it under the rug. They have a discord to promote the “community” however they wouldn’t know community if it was staring them in the face. Spend your valuable time elsewhere. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else as well. If zero stars was possible they’d get that.

Rating this app 1* because of massive number of cheating players
Over last month, i have lost countless fights, at least 25%, to cheaters. I do not accuse them of cheating because i lost but because of what occurs during fight. An example is the match i was last in. I destroyed my opponents towers multiple times after he spend massive number of troops to upgrade. Yet he would constantly have higher troop count than me with after 3m mark having 60 troop count higher even though he wasted a lot of troops upgrading buildings to have building destroyed. This is the troop generation speed hack. There is also a hack where you can send 100 troops against 10-20 and lose all 100 against just the troops in the building. This is the immortality hack. This is just some of the highest frequency hacks i have observed. Another hack i have started to see is buildings restoring 20 troops every second while under attack. This is not the building being reinforced, but gaining 20 troops every second simply for being attacked.

Love playing this game for fun, HOWEVER!
The poor or working class players have a hard time leveling up cards. If you really want to excel in this game you need to spend a ton of money! So yes, the rich will beat anyone that comes at them lol.
One thing I wish they would do to help a little guy out is to be able to sell or trade the unwanted cards you have. If they were truly a platform for real gamers they would, but they do that & they lose money lol. I just recently started playing & already need 800 cards to upgrade a regular common card. That’s ridiculous! I would have to pay hundreds o dollars to get that! Crazy! Come on Clash, why make it so difficult to level up cards? Give us the option to sell or trade!!

PVP is useless. Campaign not updated enough.
The versus mode is garbage. You can have higher level troops with a level 5 tower and your opponent will take it and somehow get 50 bonus troops in it even though you were reenforcing the tower with your own troops and they didn’t have 50 troops to begin with. On the flip side, your opponent can have a level one tower with two troops in it and twenty of yours will just bounce off. They drop messages all the time saying they are tuning the troop types for balance, but they clearly don’t change a thing. The only meta is to be the first player to pile all of your troops into your highest starting level demon tower or inquisitor tower and send them all at your opponent at the same time. There is no strategy or deck building at all in this game. Thumbs down.

Doesn’t match players with similar cards in daily play
Now I have not played this game very long only about 2 months. But I was doing the daily challenge if you’ve played you know that they force you to use certain cards. Which would be fine if they didn’t pair me with 1 player who’s has the ability to keep me from attacking 1 side even though control of the Castle on both sides. Then another player who had a card that gives them the ability to pass though unclaimed castles. How is that fair when I was only able to choose from common to rare cards? Just create more solo player levels and stop with these so call PVP. I also don’t like that they have a feedback option in game but it doesn’t work.
