Tower Defense: Epic War Hack 1.5.9 + Redeem Codes

It’s a shallow imitation of Kingdom Rush but it successfully fills the void while I wait for another great game from Iron Hide.

The graphics and animations resemble fan art. Little things are missing like a visual indicator of tower range on a difference in the banner icon when you’ve finished a level of Hard difficulty. And the humor and Easter eggs of a good Iron Hide game that tell you they enjoyed making the game are missing as well.

But the real indication of a good game is that I am still playing it after a few days and many levels. It’s fun. It’s as simple as that.

I’m in World 3 and I haven’t yet felt compelled to pay for upgrades. This is not pay to win so far as I’ve experienced. I did pay $0.99 for more elixir after playing for over an hour. This got me enough to keep playing for the day and elixir regenerates plenty over night. Worth it.

I tried to get elixir by watching ads but that feature seems broken at the moment. I get a loading indicator that just seems to time out without showing me an ad or giving me elixir. Not a killer problem.

I hope the levels get a little more varied, the towers get more varied powers, and the heroes are different from each other in action (I have only tried the default hero). I hope the elixir price per level doesn’t rise so high that I have to keep buying elixir from the store. Hope keeps me playing. Hope and fun.

okay so i just wanted to remind you about ur other games you haven’t updated in a while! Also i know this a knock off version of kingdom rush, but that’s very much okay! they are a big company and ur just by yourself! good luck and don’t stop making games!! (:

Massive disclaimer: Hint Hint, I’m a Kingdom Rush loyalist. Nevertheless, please, for the love of god just play Kingdom Rush. Sure it ain’t free, but it’s certainly better. There are literally 2 comments that state this and that is too few. So only two people recognize this as a knockoff? I see a lot of people griping about micro transactions but let’s be honest, those are in literally every game on the AppStore. But knockoffs, that’s a different problem, take the first part of this review as both a suggestion and a warning.

I don’t know what else there is to say. I’ve played the Kingdom Rush games since I was 10 years old. For ***** sake people, please don’t support knockoffs of actually good games.

Ok, in all fairness, if you’re broke AF and can’t afford a cheap AF and good game called Kingdom Rush, then maybe this is a decent alternative.

Also, I read one review where the dev responded that he’s only one dude and he’s a student that obviously can’t compete with Ironhide Studios, I get that. This could probably be a pretty cool game if I didn’t recognize some of the maps, towers, mechanics, etc. being blatantly copied from Kingdom Rush.

I only give this two stars because it’s not a completely lost cause. Has potential, do something cool with it.

At least it isn’t another Clash of Clans knockoff...

Complete knock-off of Kingdom Rush. Everything good about this game, comes from Kingdom Rush.

Bad points about this game:
1) You can’t ply the last level because an advert hovers over the screen which you can’t delete. this ad will naturally fall away after 50 IN GAME hours.
2) Advert feature doesn’t work for getting more elixir without paying
3) Only one hero, unless you buy others
4) No lexicon or enemies, so if you miss the first tip you’ll never know what their strength/weakness is
5) Very poor balance of defense towers (just use the tambourine exclusively)
6 No story/humor in the game
7) Very easy and monotonous
8) Amateurish graphics/animations
9) No markers on which pathways are entrances / exits, so you often don’t know where you are supposed to defend.
10) very poor path making which sometimes makes AI ignore one track entirely or your hero gets stuck / walks in the wrong direction

The game itself is decent, with a 3/5 from me - but it’s only because of the good features in the original game it blatantly copied

I can’t stand games where the developers don’t allow you to play their creation. Once you get up into the levels you can only play once every ten minutes or so until your play tokens catch back up up. Why do people do this? They develop a great game then put some restriction on allowing you to play it, like a time limit. Overall it’s a great game, though my hero keeps releasing the running Landmine in the wrong direction. It just goes out the exit gate instead of towards the enemy...doh! I needed up not giving any money and deleted that app.

It’s nothing but unfair chaos having special enemies that require a specific tower to kill most of the time your not gonna have enough money to buy the tower and even if you make through that once you get to higher level at the end of those levels you and your towers will be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of enemies there are resulting in your defeat. So I think the developers should make the towers cheaper and have more then one tower counter one enemy and all of this results in you literally in hell itself!

I have been looking for a more traditional tower defense game. This one definitely delivers. This does have some of the more strategic elements of current tower defense games, but still keeps them simplistic. I have greatly been enjoying this game.

Looking for a new tower defense game and I downloaded this one thinking it would be fun. I should have read the comments beforehand. The strategy to win is to pay money for resources, and after every battle I got an ad. Became unplayable for me after 5 minutes. I also think the devs are making money from selling your information, because I don’t know why anyone who would enjoy playing this game.

I think this is a great game but it’s so easy to get gold and crush the levels by playing level 1 over and over again they should make it so you can only play a level 5 times

Pros:

*interesting and varied “heroes” to complement various playstyles.

*smooth gameplay

Cons:

*requires spending money for boosts/upgrades to win

*small selection of towers with small number of upgrades available

It’s a simple, basic tower defense game, with the addition of heroes that can be manually moved around. Not extremely deep, but will kill some time if you’re bored. No storyline. Honestly if they balanced out the difficulty better and added more depth to the towers it would be a 4-5 star game. But the requirement for spending money just sinks this game. You do get “gold” for rating the game, so take all these 5-star ratings with a grain of salt.
