Description
Trafol is a free application that helps you manage your transformer asset.
Trafol uses the latest IEC and IEEE standards to help gain insight from your transformer oil analysis results.
Trafol includes:
• Doernenburg ratio analysis.
• Rogers ratio analysis.
• Dissolved Gas in Oil Analysis (DGA).
• Physicochemical analysis (water content, colour etc.).
• Furan analysis (and degree of polymerisation).
• Duval triangle.
• Gas generation rate calculator.
Limits for each analysis type have been set using a simple traffic light system; if the calculator shows red you may need to take action.
Trending of all analysis types is available; this gives you a good overview of your transformers changing condition.
The Compare tool allows you to compare your results to the >1,000 transformers in the database. Filter the data to compare your results against only those transformers similar to yours in design, construction and years in service etc.
Share-a-Spare allows you to register spare transformers you have in your fleet. If you ever need a spare, contact Trafol and we will let you know if there is an appropriate registered spare in your area. Likewise, you may also be contacted through Trafol to help other users if they need a spare. Share-a-Spare is an opt-in programme with no obligation to opt-in.
Trafol has been translated into English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian, Hindi and Bengali.
If needed, you can retrieve all your data from Trafol in CSV format.
If you want to interpret your oil results without needing to be an oil analysis expert, Trafol is for you.

We do not disclose any contact details through Share-a-Spare without prior permission.
