There is genius in simplicity. TRASOL is the first ballistic application to incorporate Heads-Up Display technology. By using your iPhone’s or iPad’s built-in camera and onboard sensors, TRASOL allows users to point their device at their target and automatically generate absolute accuracy solutions.
The HUD environment has highly intuitive drag-and-drop tools for quick input of range and wind, and the device’s sensors do the rest. The HUD also allows tracking of moving targets to provide very accurate lead solutions. Photo/video capturing capability allows you to log your shots easily and share them with your friends.
REFINED ACCURACY
Utilizing proprietary algorithms, TRASOL is the most accurate ballistics calculator on the planet. No more need to alter manufacturer bullet data to get your hits; we developed new algorithms using Doppler radar data to create the most predictive flight path possible.
In live-fire testing of TRASOL’s predictions the following results were documented (.338LM ammunition, using manufacturer's published data):
• Within 0.1 MRAD up to 1400 yards
• Within 0.5 meters up to 1700 yards
• Within 1.1 meters at 2200 yards

Purchase restore was broken, now fixed and a great app
*Updated* v2.0.1 fixed the issue below. I like the clean, straight forward layout. I definitely recommend Trasol to be in your precision shooting app folder.
The new update looks nice. However, it claims I don’t need to purchase again if I previously paid for the full version. Attempts to restore the previous purchase fail, and the trial version is not feature-rich enough to be worth the effort. If they fix the purchase restore I’ll be happy to attempt to use this app.

Elevation off maps is off.
. Just downloaded the app, sitting in Gonzales Louisiana and hot the button to auto fill elevation and it input 2022’. And I know for a fact even on the 3rd floor I am only about 40’ above sea level. Sure it works perfectly if I manually input elevation. Looking forward to stress testing this next week in Wyoming when I get home

Good interface, two requests
I like this app’s user interface. The most important improvement for me would be the ability to print the ballistics table. In addition, it would be helpful to add the effect of powder temperature on muzzle velocity. With those two changes I would give it 5 stars.

Love this ballistics calculator. I’ve used Shooter (still my fav), Applied Ballistics, and TRASOL. Using it more and more and love how quick it is to operate. One note to developers, please add powder temp capabilities!

The new update is amazing. All the issues I used to have with the app have been fixed - you can tell a lot of thought was put into the new design. Accurate solutions for all my rifles. Easily the best ballistic app out there.

Free version expires?
The free version has begun opening a pop up trying to force me to upgrade. There is no way to close the pop up. No where does it state that the free version expires after so long. I will not be upgrading and I will be deleting this “free version” from my device.

I am disapoint because i pay 25$ and Trasol is not suport in Europe! Problem is at end after add all parameters u cant count results.

Amazingly accurate calculations. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for a ballistic calculator. And free!! App is easy to use and intuitive.

This app works great! I’m a terrible shot but all I have to do is plug in a few conditions and I’m hitting the target all the time. Super easy to use app. LOVE LOVE LOVE THE UPDATE!!! Great app!
