Description

An exciting, interactive Augmented Reality mobile or tablet app for explorers of the towns of Kočevje and Črnomelj (soon more to follow), who are interested in cultural heritage and discovering the local tourist attractions using new technologies.
The Travel AR Slovenia app tells the stories of historical places via dynamic Augmented Reality enabled 3d reconstructions.

The TravelAR tour of Kočevje is expanded with a guided tour by an AR character, the krošnjar. The krošnjar takes visitors to Kočevje past historical locations in the town’s center, gives them the recipe to a Slovene delicacy and enables them to play an AR minigame.
Črnomelj has added features; a story-driven AR tour of the center of Črnomelj (dealing with WW2) tells the history through text and pictures. And an on location AR-portal which transports users to the exact same spot during WW2.

A new station is introduced the historical town of Crnomelj, Slovenia. The AR experience explores the medieval town of crnomelj and gives insights and guide to the church of the holy spirit, Crnomelj Castle and the Church of Saint Peter. The Crnomel station is guides by a voice over guide in Slovene, English and German languages.
