When it works, works well.
When I can get this application to work, it does work well. The lag isn't horrible, and the picture quality looks pretty decent. You can't connect via USB at the present moment, you're stuck with using the WiFi options which drops a connection frequently. You'll spend a lot of time having to constantly reconnect it. When USB is supported, the reliability of a wired connection, will, I suspect, correct this issue. In present state not recommended, but has potential.

Follow the guides and read EVERYTHING for best results.
If you follow the guides and everything you can almost make any pc compatible and play all the steam vr you want. But it is not perfect, due to the frequent crashes that stop all game play. I don’t really mind it that much though because I normally play at 720p on ultra with very little compression. This basically means that my tablet/laptop is pushing out 40+ mbs through its 5ghz hotspot. I do this because I have never been able to make a wired connection through my single 3.0 USB port on my i5 surface pro 4. I don’t really know the spacing between these crashes due to how I play for hours on end. *Remember to follow all guides and read everything for best results.* And don’t be too harsh because it is a good enough alternative to stand-alone headsets, with a nice viewer that is. I got the Blitz wolf v3 for 23$ and it’s amazing, so just look around he net for a headset to fit your needs. But idk for sure if my iPhone 7plus is helping out my performance much. Try the demo first to see how your phone will handle.

I played all my steam VR games in 100% VR and even non VR games in Steam Theater Mode. Some games won’t run well, especially the demanding ones. But I played extensively with Chess Ultra and Magicians Gambit in VR and had a super experience. There are other games I tried but couldn’t play due to motion sickness, but not because they couldn’t run.
I also tweaked the setting quite a bit trying different things. But it works right out of the App Store. I don’t recommend tweaking settings unless you know what your doing and why you are doing it.
It’s worth the price.
I will admit I stopped using for a few years since I purchased my Oculus Rift which is a must if you use VR a lot. You don’t want a hot phone radiating in your face for too long.
I started using it again because I’m developing VR experienced on the go with my laptop, and need a way to test it.
Huge thanks to the developers for helping us experience VR without the steep expense of a $300 - $1,000 headset!!!!

Amazing and works
This is the only app I have found to trick the computer into thinking I have a SteamVR headset, stream flawlessly from my PC, and use the phones gyroscope to simulate yaw pitch and roll by default!
Would advise keeping phone plugged in while playing over at least a decent internet connection. Kills battery.
Easy to set up, (just match the IP of the phone app to the computer app and check that box for fixed IP and you are ready to go! Even supports programs like track IR to get additional head tracking support!)

Overall amazing
Ok so sorry for everyone scared away by the reviews. This game crashes at first but I learned quickly that after installing you just have to reset your phone. You nice you’ve reset it it’s honestly great. You have a 10 minute session limit but you don’t have to buy anything. You just have to take it out of you be headset and click play again and then repair it with your computer. It really is an amazing app.

TERRIBLE! DO NOT SPEND A PENY
Use to work on early versions, but after iOS 11 update it stopped completely and never synchronized again with my PCs. I tried so many times to make contact with the developer but he seems to not give a sht to the problem, he just answered once to me and had a covert behavior pretending to not know the issue.
I’ve tried on many other devices, always ending up with the same problem: NO CONNECTION. So this app nowadays is worthless, Apple should prohibit it from being available on Apple Store! It’s so disrespectful to people like me who paid U$$10,00 for this scam app!!! Although I repeat: DO NOT RISK LITTERING YOUR MONEY ON THIS CRAP!

Actually not that bad
The software is still very experimental but that's ok I want them to work out the bugs. Once you get past the crashes the software works really nice when you adjust your settings, I use my software for a game called il2 sturmovik and it works great with the game. Finally I love this app and I hope for even more improvement in the future.

It’s fun
I tried Ivry about a year ago and was disappointed because it didn’t work as expected. I now downloaded Trinus but wasn’t expecting much because of the 2.5 stars. After tinkering with the settings, (turning off alternate ways to connect to phone), it worked great. I played half life 2, pubg, portal, super hot, counter strike, and more. Definitely try it out.

Doesn’t work
I bought this app before iOS updated. Even though it crashed all the time, and I mean ALL THE TIME, I had hope that one day this would be a decent app.... well those hopes were dashed.
Seems the app dev has moved on to other projects and cares not to make this app work at all.
Since iOS 13, this app will not connect for longer than a few seconds and is hopelessly broken. I can’t believe Apple allows this app to be on here.... it’s a scam .BUYER BEWARE.... don’t waste your money.

It works if you aren’t dumb about it
You have to change some settings because this app has many features and uses it’s not going to work right out of the gate because it has no idea what your doing
