The great bug hunt:
- When denying location authorization access, the Player is now correctly displayed.
- Dismissing the detail view of a place now also deselects the corresponding annotation on the map.
- Launching Roamy doesn't automatically pause other audio content anymore.
- Quitting the app directly after being presented with the Onboarding doesn't leave the app in a stale state anymore.
Previously, at Roamy:
The pick-up-the-phone-release:
"Ring...ring...ring..."
- ...Yes, who's there?
- Hey, it's Roamy again! I've just received a new improvement and I want to tell you everything about it!
- I can tell you're excited! What's up?
- Well, now when looking at a place, you can simply raise your phone to your ear and I'll count you the stories of this place.
- How cool is that? I don't need to connect headphones or listen to you on my iPhone speakers?
- That's right, just raise the phone to your ear, and let your surroundings come to you. Just like I'm talking to you now on the phone. (!)
- Ok here's another thing. I now have a new onboarding experience for our new users... Which you will unfortunately not experience, since you're amongst our earliest supporters. And for that, I thank you!
- Cool, nice one. That's all for this round?
- Oh one last thing: the map should behave much better. If you used to see the now playing, or the selected place, vanish behind other places as you zoomed in and out of the map, that's fixed.
Alright, that's it for today. Talk you again soon!
