Users are able to sign into the app using CalNet credentials. This will enable quick access to tools like the Daily Symptom Screener, Berkeley Moves, booking a testing appointment, and other tools to navigate the pandemic safely whether you are on campus or off campus. There are multiple options for personas including: Student, Staff and Faculty, and Visitor or Friend Students will now have a Wellness and Aid & Assistance page. The testing pages have been updated.

Doesn’t work at all!
I couldn’t even get the app to respond. I have never installed such a useless app, what is the point of going through the little trouble of creating the app if you’re not gonna ensure it at least works a little bit?? Tossing it right in the trash! My recommendations for potential users: save yourself the minute it takes to install. It’s a complete waste of time!

New Version Slow and Inelegant
The previous version of the application worked great and also looked really nice. The new version is slow, not as responsive, and does not conform to the rest of the look across iOS. Please do not make the application just a plain web view since it really ruins the experience. Very disappointing.

Not optimized for mobile (3G or GPRS) views
The news and many other functions simply redirects you to school websites without any optimization for mobile network which costs a lot for such a large data request. Anyways this app is still great especially for its map function. YOU CAN SEARCH FOR BUILDINGS NOW! No more asking around when you try to find your class. This is really a awesome feature for freshmen!
Here is a suggestion: please include Tele-Bears and some other school systems in it!

UC Berkeley App
Great start to get access to campus. Has map which is very helpful. Also, directory is so much easier to use than other platform. Love that sports and news are now accessible.

No live bus updates
The only reason I used this app was to get live, on-map updates on where the buses were. Now it just shows the bus’s path, which is next to useless without the bus itself. Especially annoying for night riding.

Having the Cal symbol available as a lockscreen on the iPhone would be nice. Am told it is not right/proper to provide such. Too bad I had to make my own - obtain a screen image and photograph it - looks nice.

Far more useful than the old version. Nice to finally have support for larger-screen iPhones.
