Good game and storytelling! Darker themes like they said!
Very fun and interesting. Seems well made and like the devs cared a great deal about the stories and making a fun game. It’s a bit difficult for some stories, mostly due to vagueness, but you can keep trying out different things til you get it right, which is cool. Some of the answers they ended up having are quite clever too. The people complaining are ridiculous, I went to give five stars and was peeved at the few reviews that their were people complaining about “a you problem” things. For one, the DIFFICULTY. It really isn’t too hard, but some levels you might have to play around with different clues and concepts. You might spend a bit of time on a story, but personally that’s enjoyable to me. The game is literally called Unexpected, and really that’s what you get sometimes for answers. Just keep trying honestly. It’s not an impossible hard. Secondly, the ADs. Theyre not bad at all considering the only time you watch them are to unlock the next story and hints. What’s the big deal? They could be behind paywalls, any rational adult understands the devs have to make money too. How are they supposed to without paywalls or ads? The ads are 30 secs tops and like I said, you have to watch for next story, which I think is the least you could do for a free game! People need to stop being so impatient. Lastly, the DARKER THEMES. Yep some stories are pretty dark, but luckily the devs rated and tagged the game very appropriately. You scroll down and hit rating, they tell you what to expect. People just don’t like to read and then expect everything to be 100% to their liking or they’ll leave a review complaining. I mean the app logo and preview don’t give a look of “this is a game with wholesome and heartwarming stories”. Not everything has to be “sunshine and rainbows”. It’s a mystery game and READ RATINGS before you download things, for goodness sake. Anyways I had fun and I quite liked the darker stories and themes! I look forward to playing more. I’m hoping others (mature patient adults) check it out and the game gains more fans as well.
