Unify is a social networking app made for (and by) UBC students! Put in your courses, get friend recommendations, and start connecting with your new classmates.

It all starts with a personalized list of students who share classes and friends with you. Tap in to see the whole profile, or swipe up to send a “like” request. If there’s a match, we’ll take care of the rest! You’ll get a notification about your new friend, and you can start chatting right in the Unify app, or exchange social media and go from there.

Why Unify?

Unlike other dating or friend-finding apps, Unify features a recommendation algorithm tailored specifically for UBC students. We take into account your specific UBC courses, faculty, year, and mutual friends to give you the best recommendations possible. With all our classes online, it will be much harder to meet new friends, lab partners, and study groups. So, we wanted to create an app that helps you connect just like you were on campus.
