Terrific game. But has glitches.
Most of the time, the dynamics/physics of the game is accurate. But there are some times that the ball should react to hitting pins and it doesn’t. Same with pins hitting other pins. I’ve recorded some games to replay them and the ball or pins will literally fly through pins. This isn’t necessarily a graphics issue, but the physical architecture of the game. The only other issue is that the next ball will pop up when pins are still falling. And it’ll start the next throw/frame before the current one has time to play out. There should be something in the logic/programming that if a pin that’s still standing, but in motion, should be let to play out before continuing to the next ball or frame. It doesn’t just todo it to us but it’s own AI that I’m playing against.
Otherwise a really really fun game to play. The best bowling video game I’ve played yet. (Besides Wii bowling. Lol!) just another petty complaint, give us more options of ball designs. Or the ability to earn the rights to more ball designs to choose from by our accomplishments.

Great game
Honestly, this is THE greatest bowling game I’ve discovered on the App Store. The graphics in it are great, the controls are simple and easy to use, and I have experienced no lag whatsoever. The addition of the 100 pin game is overall my favorite part of this game. Knocking down those 100 pins is such a satisfying thing to do. There is only one ad after every game, not disrupting the gameplay much. The only thing I recommend to add is an option to have 100 pin free play, where the player has only 1 ball to throw at the 100 pins to knock them down. This would be great for those who just want to throw the ball at the 100 pins without having to throw the second ball to reset it.

An enjoyable, challenging game for bowling fans
Unlike most routine alley bowling games, this one offers other frameworks( no pun intended) that appeal to bowlers seeking more creative, challenging gaming options. I especially enjoy the 100 pin alley game that I’ve played on the Nintendo Wii system. However, unlike that earlier 100 game, the one on this app has been engineered, deliberately or not, so that the likelihood of getting a spare with two balls is rarity and getting a strike is impossible. While I thoroughly enjoy a challenge, the design of this game elicits player frustration and ultimate anger. The Wii design displays the alley with greater depth so the player can more accurately drop stubborn pins with carom shots. This alley offers no such depth perception to help guide your follow up ball for maximum success. I also have despaired when the release, speed and direction of one’s ball delivery is unexplainably flawed for even the most experienced player. If an engineering, programming error is causing such occasional misbehavior, it needs to be corrected. Fortunately, despite a few flaws, this game is still fun to play.

So far, I like this...
I have been watching my balls SPIN down the alleys. They spin so well that energy is lost by the bucket full! By the time my ball gets to the pins, they just sort of nudge the pins...really! No crash of a well placed shot....a rumble, rum..mble, rummmm-ble ......shoooove......tinkle, tinkle....bad words froooom me! I need to hear that all encompassing CRASH! The ‘ I got ‘em ALL’ jumping up feeling. Help?? Please.....?

**Then when I release the next ball, it feels slow, rolls a lot, but so much energy is not there! When it reaches the pins; “yawn, I’m not interested in this game....” bump, bump....leaves sad pins, shivering in the cold...(forgive me, I’m a writer😀)
I have always used the same pitch....straight as a pin....down the second arrow, no curves, no deviation...hit the pocket, bam! Which is amazing considering I am now bowling from my chair...

Almost the best bowling game ever
Dear developers you have made this one of the most fun games I have ever played. But there are a few issues. If you can fix these issues I can title this as the best bowling game ever. Problem one I can’t do multiplayer. I can only do one player I should be able to do one player two player three player four player and on and on and on. Problem two I can only do one tournament for the ten pin bowling I want to able to do at least three tournament ps in one day. Problem three I can’t click leader board or awards because when I press it, it doesn’t open. Problem four I want more hook rating instead on 1.0 to 10.0 I want 1.0 to 20.0 thank you and if you do this I guarantee a ton of people will be happy with you and you will also make this the best bowling game for me and a lot of other people thank you and please do this.

Excellent bowling sim, frustrating physics.
This game is one one the more realistic bowling games out there. There aren’t crazy “power ups” or any other arcadey gimmicks, it’s just straight, mostly solid feeling bowling, with a short ad between games and no microtransactions. Unfortunately, the lane feels unusually short, and the ball / pin physics feel questionable at times. Consistency is tough and it feels like splits happen in this game way more frequently than they do for even casual bowlers in real life. I wish the physics were a bit better, but it’s a solid game all in all.

100-pin Opinion vs 10-pin Option
The 100-pin game option reminds me so much of Wii Sports Bowling, which is a good thing. I used to play Wii Sports Bowling all the time as a young child for hours with my brother, so it’s a good thing that this app is reminding me of that. However, you are not able to go against Al who is the computer you play against in the game in the 100-pin game option. I don’t remember if you can play against other actual people or not for the 100-pin option.
The regular 10-pin game option that you see when you’re out bowling, not on your phone.
The only thing that I don’t like about this game is that you can’t play against Al who is the computer you play against in the 100-pin option.

Fun but one thing with the angry bowl challenge
So much fun don’t get me wrong, this game is amazing so fun, but level 15 on the angry bowl challenge is impossible, the thing to shoot the ball high up is in the middle and the pins are on the sides, so when u shoot it the ball goes in the middle even when u change direction there’s no other way to get passed that one, please fix this level so there’s a way to the first 14 levels are easy, but once u get to fifteen how do u pass it?? No way to do it cuz of the platform is in the middle. 😒😒

Hard to control ball
I originally had given this game a 4Star review, but after playing it more it has become so frustrating. I have several bowling games on my phone because I love to bowl and access to a bowling alley is difficult for me. The ball control on this game is erratic. The pin action resembles that of someone throwing an eight or 10 pound ball. There are way too many splits. Even if you throw perfectly The odds of getting a split are high. For me this ruins the game. I’ve been bowling for several years now and the number of splits per game with this app is ridiculous. Also even if you try to adjust your hook or position, you’re still more likely to get a lot of splits. I’ve mentioned this before and I keep hoping it will be fixed but I doubt it will at this point. Time to delete.

The game has several pros and several cons. The only thing is the pros are minor and the cons are big things that bowling games need to nail to be good.

2. Nice easy controls
3. Cool game modes other then just bowling. They have angry bowl, spares challenge, 100 pin bowling. A daily series, which is my favorite, and a tournament where you bowl against AI in a tournament style.

5. Pretty cool customization

1. Not great ball motion.
2. Really hard to be consistent, which you have to be if you want to strike in this game.
3. Awful pin physics. You can throw the same shot, and I mean exact same shot, some may strike. Some will leave stupid splits. Some will just leave you asking how did I leave that? From a bowler I understand sometimes bowling leaves you asking that, but not every 2 shots.
I keep going back to this game. And then 5 minutes into it I wonder why I still have it. Overall very fun when you are able to strike because the pins fly easily, yet they seem to fly pretty unrealistically.
