Description
U of U Health’s TeleBurn program is pioneering the evaluation and treatment of burn injuries in the Mountain West and beyond. Providers can reduce costs, expand specialty burn care access to patients, and produce better outcomes for burn and frostbite survivors using the U of U Health Burn CSC app.
Physicians, EMS, wildland fire fighters, nurses, emergency managers, palliative care specialists, military, state and federal disaster teams, triage, burn, and casualty teams, ER staff, and first responders will find the U of U Health Burn CSC app invaluable.
U of U Health Burn CSC app meets the Utah Crisis Standards of Care Guidelines, Pediatric Crisis Standards of Care Guidelines, and Burn Crisis Standards of Care Guidelines for care in situations when overwhelming demand on resources and medical staff occur —based on the Institute of Medicine’s recommendations. The Utah Crisis Standards of Care Guideline identifies, trains, and empowers Crisis Triage Officers (CTOs) and Crisis Triage Officer Teams (CTOT).
Crisis Standard of Care guidelines maximize patient outcomes with fair and equitable allocation of scarce resources. Through the U of U Health Burn CSC app, qualified users from all 50 states and 97 countries gain access from anywhere.
