Love the service, app needs work
I find discovery to be clunky and inefficient in the app. Searches and parameters are not saved, and you never get spontaneous inputs or updates that something new and exciting related to your preferences is available. In fact, I don’t get the sense any preference is saved.
There’s no ability to have more efficiency in the flow I used every day which is checking in at my favorites. Every time I go to a service provider I still have to pick what I’m doing. I do functional fitness at Crunch fit wedding every couple days and that flow remains super painful … validate my location is nearby and just let me do this in one click.
Saving things that aren’t courses is also a mess.
Finally, in what is clearly a deliberate design decision, you can’t freeze/pause membership in the app. Why not? Feels just cheap. Again, I am forced to consider why and it doesn’t feel like the app is thinking about me as a long term relationship but rather a user to trick for one more month accidental membership.
I value the service offering though, and I think all these things are correctable and possibly unintentional, so I’ll review and update this if I see improvement on all 3 issues.

Great service with a terrible app
Love my membership, but the app stinks. Filter function and venue search consistently don’t show results that are perfectly easy to find on the website, which means you need to favorite or schedule them there just to find them in the app.

Crashes/freezes when scanning
I use the app for one thing: scanning the barcode when I arrive in the gym. Every time I open the app, takes a really long time to start up, then when it finally does, the camera often freezes. Sometimes, the app will crash when scanning, approximately 30% of the time. Other times, the scan will work, but before I can click on my activity, it will go back to the camera and I have to scan it again. This increases the probability that I run into another freeze or crash.
This should not be such a bad experience, and it happens almost every single time I open the app.

Worst designed app I use
The only reason why I use this app, is because I actually genuinely like Urban Sports. But the design and usability of the app is an absolute disgrace for a modern “start up”. You should rebuild everything from the ground up - if you can’t do it yourself find a good agency, invest some money, and fix this. There is so much potential but this is shameful how un-usable the app is. If you don’t fix this soon I might cancel my subscription.

I think the app is a mess. It’s hard to filter what is available and when. Also I wish I could sort out things better and easy, it takes a while to find a matching class and I can’t add many courses to the schedule - please improve!

Not enough accesses
Only allowing me to enter the gym I live near 8 times a month for quite a high monthly price simply doesn’t make sense. Paying the gym for a membership costs less

Hey guys - this is a fantastic idea but why the changes to the app? It used to be so easy to filter activities on the map but now it's a mess and incredibly difficult to see what is and isn't in my area based on the selected filters.

Courses outdated
Today was the 3rd time I went to a place and the course was either at different times than indicated or didn't take place at all. This is terrible service for this much money.
Also, choosing the sports you care about needs to be done again every time you use the app and is very unuserfriendly... will probably cancel my subscription now.
