What Is Going On?
When I first subscribed, like clock work I would get the latest issue. Then suddenly, the issues were a week late, then two weeks late, and so on. Sometimes I would get a 5 issue dump. Just updated the app, and now it says “Print Edition”, and now it wants an actual USA Today subscription login, and password. Went to the help screen, and guess what, no help. Have sent an email to them, and 3 weeks later, still waiting for an answer. Why is this app even allowed on the App Store?
Update: With cautious optimism, the app now seems to work amazing well. Every Wednesday, a new issue. Not 5 stars, because it does not fit the screen very well.

Stay Away
The app has many problems. The current issue almost always is not available on the day the issue is available on the newsstand. Currently, I am only able to access issues from December 2018 and earlier. Every person or group I contact tell me the same thing: it’s not our problem. Not worth the money.

Bad App
I have already deleted the app, because I have an active USA today account, and I logged into that USA today easily. But then when I go to USA to do sports weekly it says I did not have an account and I have to reset my password just to use this app to read the freaking sports newspaper. So I go to the USA Today happen I do reset my password it says I was successful so then I go back to the sports weekly app, and it still says that it does not work because I have done something wrong. So it is too much work it is toToo hard to work with, so I have already deleted it, and when my subscription to USA today weekly is up, I will not renew,

Today is the September 24 the magazine that I can read is your last weeks issue 16th through the 22nd I would like to read the September 23 edition that came out yesterday on Wednesday that’s my dilemma how do I get a new issue when it’s issued out at the new stand unfortunately I’m in Georgia nobody freaking reads papers here please help thank you sincerely MarkHeard

I am really disappointed
I love USA Today sports weekly. Have subscribed for years. Can never seem to get the paper issue on time. If I receive it it comes after the games have been played Also sign onto the digital issue and cannot get them on time. I am really disappointed Can anyone help

Doesn’t send issues in a timely manner
This app stinks. I am a subscriber to USA Today Sports Weekly and the digital version is supposed to be available every Wednesday. It is May 26 and the last issue available is May 8. Before that issue arrived, along with several others, I had no received an issue in a timely manner for nearly two months. Tech support is also very slow and they have told me the digital publisher of the app is totally separate from them which is a joke and proves there is no quality control. I will be deleting this app and I suggest no one wastes their valuable time with this junk app.

Somehow, the app updated and all 2019 issues were erased! Nice work, developers. Was wanting to purchase the Opening Day baseball issue, but it is non-existent!
Reading the pub on the iPad is actually pleasant and convenient— when it’s available. But you are not going to sell many subscriptions when you can’t deliver the product........

Piece of Junk
I am a print subscriber, have access to this app for free, and it’s still not worth the time and effort. This publication has gone downhill ever since they did away with the all baseball format.
With spotty home delivery, I frequently do not receive my print edition. It got so bad years ago, I canceled. When they included free app access with a print subscription, I thought at least I could still read it when I did not get my print. Well, to my dismay, they even screw up electronic issues.
I could almost accept incompetence in missing print deliveries, but delays and missed issues in electronic format? Seriously? Only a hack, sub-par, bonehead, and incompetent company can pull that off.
As others have said, save your money and look elsewhere for your sports info. These guys just can’t deliver no matter what format. A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

I wish I had read the reviews before I subscribed to this publication through this app. It’s an awful experience. New issues will not appear. The developers blame USA Today. USA Today customer service blames iTunes. iTunes can cancel your subscription but they can’t fix the issues not showing up. Everyone passes the buck. And it seems this problem has been going on for years. Don’t do it. You’ll regret it.

Not Working!
USA Today should be embarrassed of this app. Latest addition in the app is from two weeks ago. I have an active subscription but this app tells me that my subscription has expired even though I continue to get the physical newspaper delivered to my house and I’m able to get the E edition on my laptop in my web browser. This has been an ongoing problem but yet USA today still can’t figure out how to fix it. Absolutely ridiculous!
