Love it!
I use this app to create signs to use on my selling apps and it works perfectly! I like that I could pay $0.99 to remove the watermark, but wish more came with that $0.99, like more options for texts and borders. Maybe there is a few more and I just haven't noticed. So my only improvement would be to let users pay $0.99 to remove the watermark and unlock everything, because I think paying $5-6 or however much it was to unlock everything is ridiculous. Just a way for them to make more money...making me pay extra for more fonts and borders lol. I'll stick with the $0.99 version.

Good app, needs attention!
I used to use this app all the time and it worked fabulous! I hadn’t touched it in a while and noticed it got updated. They added extra fonts and some other neat things but it came with kinks. For one my main point is the Opacity feature on the fonts no longer works. The slider is there but does nothing. I’ve deleted and reinstalled app, reset my phone, nothing changes this. I contacted app support and got no response. This is why I am giving 3 stars. It used to be 5 stars in my opinion. I don’t know if app developers read these comments, cause they didn’t respond to my message, but a nice feature to add if possible would be to also be able to adjust the opacity of the “Vanillas”! But I’d be happy with just the Text opacity being fixed! I had to knock off 2 stars for the bugs and lack of support, other than that this is an excellent app and should get 5 stars! Fix that OPACITY!

Great and bad 🙃 Greedy developers with monthly fees
Has incredible potential but can’t be used for anything commercial??? Also as a design tool lacks basic feature....mainly. Opacity/transparency slider. You can’t adjust the opacity of any elements...Why!!? I would gladly pay for the app (expensive) but still, if I had ability to change opacity of elements...and I could use them for my website (which is commercial). Sad. Almost an amazing design tool
Eventually developers will realize that the monthly model of sales won’t work long term. The greed will kill them. Instead of making a fair amount of profit and updating. The developers all lock us out of what we paid for them expecting us to pay monthly. This is pure greed and the fact that Apple allows this form of sales should be criminal. I used to buy a lot of apps. But now I very rarely pay for any apps. It will be the death of the app based system. Someone (developer) has to be the first to step up and go back to the charge to Buy system. Shame on all and if they all go under and out of business then so be it. Capitalism at its finest

Going Downhill
I used to use this app all the time. I loved it! Simple, great designs, affordable. Now it’s buggy and they charge more than the product seems to be worth. The cursor is always jumping around and you have to delete an entire section of text back to the beginning if you want to edit something you typed earlier. There are quite a few fonts, but there are only a few categories of some niche styles, so if you don’t want something from one of those five (i think that’s how many) categories you’re out of luck. Doesn’t support moving around to edit, the layers are finicky, some of the features don’t work the way they should and it seems like too often the app freezes and I lose my work. I used to love it, but I’m giving up on it and moving on to something that works a little better. Such a shame.

When outweighs potential.
When I first learned about this app I was beyond excited. The elements are fantastic the fonts are beautiful… However it crashes constantly and I cannot use anything up for me to strengthen brand awareness.
What is the point of creating such a powerful app if you cannot take advantage of it in the most logical way? Average people are not going to use an app like this to create personal content.
This company should really consider switching their model to maybe a different sales structure that would allow them to raise their price while providing the licensing that we want. If the app did not crash and I was able to use it as I please I would be telling everyone about this app. I hope the developers realize they are going to lose more money than they can generate. I would literally pay 4-5x the current rate if I could use the content I created on this app commercially.

This app desperately needs some bug fixing and regular maintenance
This app is at the moment only barely usable for me on my up to date and most recent generation of iPhone 5s... I am even considering paying the very reasonable cost of 5$ to unlock everything...however, I have used and then been burned every single time I have used this app, sometimes after spending literally hours working on getting something JUST right, only to have the app crash every single time I go to save my creation. After the fourth time I had to throw in the towel and delete the app and I am usually loathe to leave bad reviews of anything, but I am hoping that this is not just a me issue and that the problem will be fixed soon if enough people review and bring the problem to the developer’s attention. This app has the potential for 5+ stars and I hope I can come back here and edit my review once this problem has been addressed!

I am having a issue because I purchased the full on access you guys had before this new update. I log in after a little while of not using it and it’s all new and everything is free but when I try to restore my account purchase it says there isn’t any. So my question to you guys is there a way you guys can resolve this issue ? And if not a refund of some sort because it’s not fair

Super Cool, But I Wish There Were More Free Things
I love this app so much! I use it all the time! There's just a few things that could make it even better.
For me, number one would be to be able to add multiple fonts for one poster. I love to use different fonts when I am writing a quote, but I can't do that with this app. I really would like to.
Number two is to simply make more things free. It would be super useful and more people would probably get the app.
This really isn't a big issue, but I think Vanilla Pen should post WAY more often on their Instagram account. It would also be super useful and people could get really inspired.

I want to give this more stars, I really do, but I’m on my first project and the moment I tell it to save a slide to my photos, the app crashes. It then continues to crash when I try to start another slide, and I have had to delete it and reinstall every time I want to make another one, which deletes my favorites and projects and is tedious. I’m on the 7 day intro trial but will probably cancel and look for another app.
Other than repeatedly crashing, I was impressed with the fonts and templates for use. My only other complaint is that I can’t figure out whether/how to move my cursor up to edit text in an existing box. I have to delete everything I’ve written and then rewrite and try to edit as carefully as possible as I go.

Used to be amazing, now I am frustrated.
I have used this app for years to make simple graphics to use with my students or in my classroom. I paid for it because I loved it so much! Unfortunately after the update that happened sometime in February/March I can no longer access the templates I paid for. I could understand if it were only new templates that I couldn’t access (since they’ve switched to a subscription format) BUT about 2/3 of the templates I can no longer use I PAID for. And I know because I still have several that I can no longer use saved on my phone, used as recently as February 10 of this year. I am frustrated and would love to speak with someone in support about this. This used to be one of my favorite apps. Now I get mad every time I open it.
