• Bug fixing
2.24.2
2021-06-02
• For testing the internet speed which is currently available between WEBstudio server and the end-user site, we have added a speed test button directly to a reference WEBstudio server at VEPROs data center in Germany (best possible access speed).
• Sometimes client reports not enough internet speed for fluent working (minimum should be > 4/8 Mbit) and did not know where the bottleneck is: either on his remote device (low download speed) or on the WEBstudio Server installed on premises (low upload speed).
• If client access to VEPROs data center is good (> 4/8 Mbit) and the access speed to the WEBstudio server on premise is lower, than the upload speed on the WEBstudio server site is too low.
• If access to VEPROs data center is lower than the minimum (> 4/8 Mbit), than the client by itself will have a too low internet download speed.
• If a WEBstudio connection is established with the option: Launch on WINDOWS Desktop - it is checked beforehand whether the necessary desktop client is installed. If this is not the case, the user is enabled to install this software.
• If WEBstudio App will be installed under WINDOWS, the user can choose whether the software should be installed for all users or only for the current WINDOWS user.
• The Remote App Client has been updated to version 11.50.0.63
• Fix: If something was printed out in WEBstudio, the name of the WEBstudio and the URL address were not printed.

For security reasons, no user names and passwords can be stored in the Windows WebStudio Portable Version
WebStudio updates are now also automatically installed under WINDOWS, MAC or LINUX
If a new WebStudio is configured, the "Start on Windows Desktop" button is inactive. When activated (recommended for Windows operating systems), the WindowsApp client must also be installed
For high-resolution monitors with a Windows operating system where a zoom was configured to enlarge elements, the view within the WebStudio window is no longer scaled. This ensures a correct image display - without Windows zoom.
On the help page, a system information of the used IT device can be displayed. This helps to identify possible causes for troubleshooting.
For mobile devices with high resolution displays, another zoom level of 250% has been added
