Verba is a platform designed to help people speak confidently through an NLP-powered mobile app, custom curriculum through coaches and schools, bootcamps, competitions, and much more!
The fear of public speaking, glossophobia, affects over 75% of the population. Applicable in every interaction, the skill of being able to speak confidently is important for all demographics. At Verba, we’re here to help you master that skill and reach your goals, whether that be getting better at social interaction or preparing to speak in front of audiences of thousands.
With a team of experienced speakers in the fields of persuasive speaking (debate) and informational speaking (motivational), we give you daily tips on how to maximize your growth on this learning journey. To help you get feedback on your speaking, we have exercises on the app that you can use to track your confidence, speed, and content. We’re in the early stages of development on this front, so we’re continuously working on new drills to make your experience more immersive. Other features include a community you can schedule sessions to practice with. Community building is key to learning, and what better way to practice your public speaking than through social interaction? We also have some topics that people post on the app that you can use to start a conversation!
In addition to our public speaking-oriented features, at Verba, we take a unique approach and help you learn different styles of speaking for different purposes. Persuasive speaking is important for job interviews and situations in which you need to sell yourself, an idea, a product, or anything else of the sort. Through an immersive debate curriculum, daily news to help you if you participate in competitive debate, and refutation drills, we have the infrastructure to support you if you want to explore the debate route!

The entire app has been upgraded with a sleeker design and the addition of several new modules. Going with a calmer but more modern look, the app is meant to be a lot easier to navigate through and easier to use for maximum utility. Additionally, several new features such as speech analytics and our web updates module should help with keeping up to date on our other initiatives as the company grows. This is the first step of many along our journey to making Debate on the Daily the ultimate public speaking service. In this version, we have updated the app with many new features and fixes:
1) Learning resources! If you're not familiar with debate, but want to engage in the activity, we now have resources with detailed lists of the different debate formats, general public speaking drills and resources, sample debates that you can learn from, and more!
2) Our wonderful partners! Debate on the Daily strives to spread its impact as far as possible, and our partnered organizations help us make this possible by accelerating our growth while allowing us to spread their resources and help others around the world as well!
3) We now have a coaching module in our app that leads to DebateDrills! DebateDrills is a coaching service formed by the most competitively successful debaters of their time. We will soon be expanding to have interested users on the app such as you be able to post coaching opportunities! Till then, check out DebateDrills on our "Get Coaching" module as well as our "Partnerships" module!
4) We have restructured much of our app so that it is easier for you to access all of our fantastic tools without the hassle of figuring out where everything is. If you have any suggestions from a user perspective, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected].
5) We have fixed dimensional errors that appeared on larger screens where the home screen layouts didn't completely fit the screen. If you have any questions or issues to report, please email [email protected]!

Very Resourceful
This app has many features which I haven’t been able to find elsewhere, and all the features I want are in one app, so it’s all really convenient! I myself am not a splendid debater, but find this app very useful for the purpose of learning about debate, sharpening my skills, and checking out debate related news. I definitely recommend this app to debaters and those who are looking into debate!

BEST Debate app I’ve ever had
Throughout my debate career, I have been looking for a debate app that would help me out. Unfortunately, before Debate on the Daily, I have not. However, this app changed my entire life. It has so many helpful resources that specifically benefit me as a debater. I would STRONGLY suggest this to all the debaters out there!
