VIC Radio Hack 2.6 + Redeem Codes

Updated the streaming link.

We've brought back the "now playing" track and song history! You'll notice that the "song history" loads MUCH faster now - New year, new backend design. We also brought back the "song search" feature, and gave the app a little bit of a visual change. Contact the VIC Radio staff with any issues or comments!

Update time!

VIC has been hard at work this semester with all of our new specialty programming and VIC Sports Sunday! We've received many complaints that our app has been crashing on startup. Not to worry anymore! This update should fix that. With issues, contact the VIC Executive Staff.

We took away the current song/artist information, as well as alarm clock - they will be back soon. Technology, am I right?

It's that time of the year: Update time! Not only does our wonderful iOS app have a shiny new upgrade, but so does our website! vicradio.org

This updates brings you a massive visual and experiential overhaul. The structure of the application has been changed so that now all of the social media, contact page, about page, and more is available in a "slide out" menu. Simply swipe to the right or press the tri-bar icon in the top left corner to access the menu. The "share" button was moved to the bottom of the slide out menu. This now shares the current song and artist to your social media, as well as a link for your friends to download the app. Finally, the "About" page has been updated with more information.

On the same top bar, we moved the HQ stream, alarm clock, and sleep timer buttons. All of the icons in the app have been improved to appear much sharper.

(Arguably) Most importantly, we added support to see the current song and artist. And you can tap on the name to search the internet for the song. We're bringing the music right to you.

Fixed the volume slider.

In version 1.2, we've had a slight interface update. One of the big new features in this version is the addition of an alarm clock. Now you can wake up with VIC! Simply set a time that you want to wake up, leave your volume up and your phone screen on, and go to bed. (Disclaimer: VIC is not responsible if you miss class and / or work because you slept through our alarm.)

We also added in-app access to our Youtube and Instagram. All of the social media for VIC was moved under the "Social" tab. For information on the 50 Hour Marathon, contact information, or to share a link to the app, check under the "About" tab.

And we updated more graphics. Believe it or not, it looks even better.

Note: The volume slider does not work in this version. The issue has been rectified and will be fixed for the version 1.2.1 update very soon.

Version 1 of the new VIC Radio app was nice, but it turns out software developers are not very good graphic designers. For this reason, in version 1.1 we’ve updated the interface with some nicer graphics. They’re pretty artsy.

We also updated our “About” information, and we added a share button in every web-browsing interface. Also in those web browsing interfaces, we added the page titles in the top bar.
