Puppies-very disappointed
The book is cute and my child likes it, but the app doesn’t work at all. It acts like something will download, but then goes back to the camera. I’ve even tried it after updating my phone and nothing. It’s a shame because I think it’s a great idea.
Update- I’m giving one additional star because we finally got a couple of the videos to work, but not all.

My daughter loves these
My daughter loves these books so much she started challenging herself to higher reading levels than normal to read about dinos and planets. The videos sometimes take a little work to load (and there are only videos for some pages) but for a $1 book, these are fabulous.

Decent companion app
Came to give this app a better rating. Not sure what people expect that comes along with with a $1 book. It worked fine for us with all the video pages for the dinosaur books. Got to see a few videos of how dinos May have looked in real life which my son enjoyed.

Disappointed..
We are disappointed that we couldn’t see all the videos, they didn’t download to check them out or they got stuck mid way. I really think the concept of the book is cool. My son was looking forward to all the videos. The ones we did see, did interest him and he was excited to see more. We tried our phone and tablet still no luck.

Dinosaurs
I love the app! I think ppl are a little confused when they say “not all the pages work” the only ones that have short clips are the ones with the camera icon on the top corner of the pages. Everything worked great for me and my toddler loved it!! Thank you

Needs improvement
Love this idea!! My children love the short videos. Doesn’t always work unfortunately. Our night reading gets drawn out because we keep closing out the app to see if it helps the camera read the special icon to see the video for the icon page. Hope they fix it because my children are so engaged when it works!

Ok
Like others stated this app doesn’t work as intended. We have the Sea Creatures and Puppy books. One page in each book didn’t work at all. Others I had to rescan etc. I deleted and re downloaded the app a few times. Great idea. Books are still good on their own, but provided big disappointment to my daughter when the last video was on that didn’t work.

Works Only Sometimes
We have 2 books. The sound plays on the iPad app, but not the iPhone app. No matter which app we use, I can’t get T-Rex to play in the Dinosaur book, the rest play right away. In the Solar System book, I can’t get any of the videos to play. The books are great without the videos but I have a very disappointed 4 yo who really wants to watch the videos.

Needs improvement
The idea is great but it just doesn’t work that great. More than half the time I try to scan it it doesn’t give me the video. I try to scan it from different angles but it doesn’t work. If they would make adjustments and actually make it work this app would be great!
