Cassius Ordonez,
I love this app!
Before i buy a rated m game I look it up first to see if it is appropriate. The website I always get is common sense media and ESRB website. Two of my favorite websites!
IRH YT,
They are missing games like Fallout 76 but I still like to mess around
They are missing games like fallout 76 but good to mess around with. Edit THIS IS AVAILABLE FOR IPAD!
sydyoocfxfu,

Just like to mess around and have fun with it. 🙂🙂
Matthew programing,
NOT COMPLETE
Missing several games that they have rated a long time ago but still good other than that.

Do Not Be Decieved!!!!!!
Your Children will lie to you about the games they are playing! Im 19, and I used to do it personally myself. This app is great to let you know exactly what you are potentially exposing yourself and your children to as well. I recently purchased Grand Theft Auto 5, and I have learned it is an inappropriate game after 10 minutes of gameplay. I later checked the internet to see what others were saying, and parents were saying it is a good game that teaches realistic aspects of life. I became flustered when one of the reviews from a child's mother stating that she bought the game for her 12 year old son, she was convinced that any nudity and violence is avoidable throughout the game. There is one mission where you have to brutally torture a person, you are in full control and get to chose what to torture the man with. There is another mission where you have to close a series of "adult" pop-ups on a persons computer. I believe that there should be more pressure on parents to review this app or website from this company. KNOW WHAT YOU EXPOSE YOURSELF AND YOUR CHILDREN TO! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ESRB!!! 10 out of 5 stars if possible!!
jacob price,
Must have for parents and GameStop employees!
I just downloaded this app the other night and have used it over 40 time already. Working at a video game store, parents never really know what they are getting for their kids and most pass the ratings off as conservative babble but the few that are truly interested in what their kids are playing always ask "what exactly do they mean by 'suggestive themes'?", etc. Unfortunately, unless we have personally played the game from start to finish we have to base our answer off word of mouth or approximations. This app cites specific reasons for the ratings including detailed descriptions and quotations. Parents love that we care enough to educate them and this app makes it easy. My only suggestions would be to create reviews for the older games pre 2008 and to add MORE examples of content instead of just 1 or 2. Otherwise, the app works great and is extremely convenient and helpful. I have to give it 5 stars! Thank you!
BillR33F,
Great tool for parents!
This app is great... I'm in the middle on rated M games with my older teens... Usually the list of the ratings reason on the back doesn't quite tell me what I want to know... Well, this app breaks down the game and tells you why it was given a certain rating. It even describes some of the worst scenes and lists all the language used in the game... It Is also helpful for my little guy because it will tell us if a lot of more difficult reading is involved on the E10+ rating. If you're a concerned
parent that wants to ensure the games your kids are playing is right for them, this is definitely the app for you!
StormMakerX,
The search option on this app does NOT work.
I can understand making an app like this so that parents will know what to expect what is in the game that they and their children will be exposed to. (Though I've always believed that parents should always take a closer look into games themselves because people can go too far or not far enough on rating anything, including the ESRB. If you don't believe me, I've got a collection of games where they either over looked or went overboard when rating them. I could write a book series about it!) The problem with this app is that it's search option only pulls up the game's title but not what it's rated. Also you can't change the search criteria, especially if you want to check it on a certain system. Until this problem is fixed my rating will stay at 1 star. I have IOS 9.1, which should help with narrowing down if it's the operating system/ app compatibility.
UndeadAssassin,
Well... It works...
It simply does what it's supposed to, with delivering game content descriptions, but I am not so fond of what it is meant to do. It is simply just a game, and for the parents reviewing this, dictating other parents and telling them they need this app, trying to rule other parents to have their game restriction rules. Seriously, who cares if a mom is buying their kid Left 4 Dead 2 at Toys R Us (They do sell in the game section) because it's their parenting and not to mention that it only puts up games after 2005. Also, ESRB describes these ratings as crucial, as if Adults Only is an only must for 18+ or that your a bad parent for letting kids play Mature games, which are both very untrue.
JAEGGERNAUT,
Too Strict!! 
ESRB needs to grow up. You only have 15 years to be a kid. These reviews get ridculaus for example: Look at Pokemon Rumble's review it got a E 10+ for having intense punching sounds. See what I mean?! What 5 year old doesn't love pokemon? Even in their commercial it's over exaggerated. For those of u that don't know the mom looks up a game and reads the review that says the robots explode and their arms fall off when they get shot with a laser beam. Then tells her 7 year old boys no. A different example is Dead or Alive Paradise listed for bikinis(I can understand that part) and gambaling (which is in Toy Story 3) and it gets rated M even though stuff like MTV has far worse content, and that is for teenagers. It's not like they're doing drugs The age limits should be lowered just by like 2 years because once your 18 you have to work and go to college you can't afford to play games.
