The current version of Vidometer has a bug where no sound is recorded in videos. We are going to have an update out soon to fix this. In the meantime, here is how you can fix the problem without waiting for an update:
- Go to Vidometer Audio Settings, Turn sound recording OFF
- Go back to Vidometer Camera
- Go to Vidometer Audio Settings, Turn sound recording ON
Turning sound off and then back on will fix this problem.

Needs file size/time limit 4 looping video
Idk if your team is working on video looping/ recycling options, but I hope it comes soon. It’s needed to ensure video clips are saved securely. Thank GOODNESS you have 60fps @ 1080p so it’s not a crippled dash cam app, but Vidometer will be, imo, PERFECT after you add looping/ video clip recycling. Then your app will be KING of all DashCam/ action camera apps!! 😎
To lock in that crown, add 4K recording (preferably @ 60fps), as most new iPhones support it, and previous commenters WANT it. you could make it a premium feature even; but just keep listening to your customers/ app patrons, and we will spread the word about Videometer from the mountain tops, to EVERY single person that gets in our car and asks, “oh cool!! Is that an app?” We will market for you!! 👍

Great app! Just needs wide angle support
Just downloaded the app to record when I ride my motorcycle, but I just wish I could record with the wide angle lens and have more camera controls.

I’ve been looking for a legit HUD camera app and this one delivers. The selection of overlays is great and they all look very aesthetic. I hope the developer is able to continue to add more features and customization, but it’s great as it is currently. Maybe the heart rate monitor and map for BMX trails? 👍

Conceptually, the greatest action cam app. Features and design are awesome.
The craziest thing is that it's free, no ads. But there are video export bugs. If it's bug free, the dev needs to charge for this app.
The craziest thing is that it's free, no ads. But there are video export bugs. If it's bug free, the dev needs to charge for this app.

Great Little App - One Problem
App seems nice. I did some testing with it today. Only problem I'm seeing with this version is that it's not picking up my heart rate from my Apple Watch even though I have shared the source in Apple Health.

One of a kind but would like more customization and updated overlays. Also not able to export entire video to camera roll. Only allows a portion. Thanks

“Pro” version not available
I downloaded this app to be able to use the map function in the Pro upgrade. However, I keep getting the msg “Unable to connect to the iTunes Store” to buy the upgrade. So it’s pretty much useless to me. Could be a problem with iOS 12, since the app hasn’t been modified in a long time. Wrote to developer but got no response.

Useful but outdated
I like the options this app offers for recording videos with overlays, but it needs to be updated for recent phones—some of the controls are halfway off the screen.

I use this app a lot more and like the big map overlay. It documents the location of my video recording.

Good but seems to have a bug...
The video plays awesome with in the app but once i export it to the camera roll and play it from there, the info display starts blinking making it hard to read it...
