Mostly well balanced but -
I’ve played many freemium to subscription service games and this is one of the best conversions I’ve seen. The main story lines boards are usually doable in the first try and there are plenty of powerups being showered at me a steady rate that i never felt stuck until the Gnome special event. The last few levels were impossible. I tried a couple of the levels dozens upon dozens of times and spent all of my coins and used all of my powerups for naught and then of course the levels expired with my Gnome Garden incomplete. The random free extra moves were a nice thought but didn’t help. The few times I needed just one more move they didn’t materialize and the times they did it was still hopeless. I would suggest infinite moves if a level is repeated more than X times maybe 10? Nobody enjoys repeating the same levels over and over again.

Fantastic game so far!
Im a huge fan of this match 3 renovating game. I wasn’t sure what to expect about a Netflix game since ive never heard of such thing but i have to say this game is fantastic. The graphics are phenomenal and i love the 3D graphics too. The story so far is great and the characters look and are awesome. The only thing i will change is (and its not a huge thing or issue) some of the sound effects, like when you use that wine coin ( a disco ball in most of this games) it really doesn’t have much of a sound effect. Some blasters can benefit from this too. Another thing that would be great is adding a voice during gameplay. Like for example “awesome” or “ fantastic” things as such. Like when you do big combos, add some voice to it to cheer you up. Other than that this is a 5 star game for sure. I recommend it for sure.

Story End?
I was really enjoying this game and the ability to play stressful due to lack of ads or in game purchases. However, the game abruptly ends at chapter 24 during the middle of the story. There are “bonus” levels you can play but they do not give you stars, so I can’t continue the story. I’ve even completed the greenhouse and garden terrace events, I have nothing left to do :/ hopefully there will be an update soon that adds the additional levels.

Great so far
So far I am really enjoying this game. I delete about 99% of the games I play when they start being to greedy about making it impossible to play unless you keep opening your wallet! I do pay sometimes but the greediness pisses me off ! I am noticing these developers are NOT GREEDY ! I may have to play one board 25 times to win , ( which is another thing) YOU CAN without losing lives right away ! Let’s see what happens…. I think the story is very cute as well , plus I love decorating. I hope to be able to play this game for months or years to come .. I will let you know and update if still playing ..

Great game but…
I can’t say enough about this game! Loads of fun and highly addictive! I can spend hours playing especially when to don’t have the ads you have to sit through but it has a glitch. When I started playing again it wants you to claim your daily prize but then it freezes. I’ve tried six times to get past this screen and forget it. I deleted the app a few times and reloaded in hope that that would take care of the problem, no such luck. So now I’ve deleted the app and if I remember I’ll try to download again in a few months. I would like to continue playing. It is a great game.

Was great… until
This app is great, and I’ve been steadily playing to level 95. But for some reason, there is a glitch and the whole game now appears to be frozen. When I open the app, it prompts me to collect my prize, which I do as I have no other choice, then it just stays stuck with the two prizes showing on the screen while everything else remains unclickable. I would like to continue playing, but I’m not able to get the prizes to go away in order to click on anything else. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling twice, but still a no go.
I hope someone contacts me so we can get this resolved as I would love to keep playing the story.
Otherwise, the levels get challenging but nothing too extreme and the story line and game play is interesting and fun!

Great Idea, Poor Execution
This game is highly addictive, especially with no ads or purchases BUT it definitely needs many improvements. I no longer receive stars from completing levels which has ruined the game for me as I can no longer complete tasks. Also, I am currently on the “bonus levels” which has actually turned out to be just playing the exact same level over and over again. There are so many ways to keep the game just as fun as when you first start playing, but it seems they don’t care about your experience after you become a loyal player. This game has so much potential but there definitely needs to be some more attentiveness from developers.

Great Game but
I LOVE this game. The levels aren’t too hard and you progress quickly through the chapters. I love that there aren’t any annoying ads constantly popping up. I think it would be better if the levels gave double stars though or at least let the hard levels reward more stars. Also, there’s suddenly a glitch with the game where the word loading is stuck on the right side of the screen. No matter how many times I restart it or uninstall and reinstall it, it doesn’t go away. But aside from that, great game.

Abruptly stops at chapter 24
Not only does this version of Vineyard Valley abruptly stop at chapter 24 (versus many more chapters in the regular version) right before an important reveal, I am stuck on a screen that awards me (golden/blue crate). The interface is not responding to my taps. Rebooting the game: same issue.
I’ve also experiences weird UI bugs where characters are rendered twice in the interface, and buildings with Z-fighting, making the screen flicker.
The gameplay is way too easy - balanced out of whack for the Netflix release by removing IAPs and other Monetization tricks (a good thing). They should really spend more time on finding that balance again.
1 star. I played only to get stuck half-way without any content left, breaking the story.

This game is a reason to keep a Netflix account
Love this game, playing something like this without ads is like what mobile gaming is *meant* to be.
Problem is that my game is frozen and won’t advance past a certain prize (screen just freezes after hitting “claim” and I’ve done everything to resolve it, including uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Hopefully this gets fixed, otherwise they have lost a loyal user 😭
