Virtual Crokinole Hack 2.2 + Redeem Codes

My friends and I play a lot of Crokinole in real life so we are really enjoying this game. The major flaws in game play are the way the disc picks up speed after hitting a post like it was a pinball machine! The distance gauge gets weird as well when you tilt the board. The new online opponent feature could be really cool if you could sign in and find your buddy! I played my friend the other night but that will become impossible as the game gets more popular. 5 stars and a bunch of new users if you can work on these issues!

So far I have had a lot of fun with the game. I love Crokinole and it’s nice to play it without being home on my board. That said, sometimes the physics give me a bit of trouble. I have had a few shots where 90% of my disc is over the center hole but it doesn’t go in or shots where the bounces are just crazy. I still have a lot of fun with it and I will definitely update my review if those issues get fixed. In its current state, the app is a fun, sometimes frustrating, experience that I will keep using.

Why am I always always always going first in every round? I literally never get last shot.

One thing I’ve noticed is that the power bar is very inconsistent. You can shoot 3 different discs from the exact same spot, and pull back until the power bar is in the exact same spot, and they’ll all go different distances. It’s cost me games, not because I wasn’t aiming correctly, or calculating the right amount of power, but the power bar didn’t give the same result. It’s like knowing 1 + 1 = 2, and having the answer come out 3, when you had every right to expect 2!

Crokinole is an addicting game, and this app keeps that feeling. The controls are pretty intuitive, though sometimes it seems hard to place my disc where I want it. It has hung up on me once or twice. Also the rule about which player starts the next round is not like NCA rules, and the app didn’t always follow its own rule on that. But it’s fun to play and pretty well done.

Positives. Cheap, it is Crokinole so addictive and simple to play. Not that many Crokinole games available digitally on the App Store.

Negatives. Crashes pretty frequently. Physics feel akin to those in GTA 3, this can be frustrating. At times the hit detection just seems startlingly inconsistent. Sometimes the AI just does absolutely dumb stuff.

Summary. At least it is cheap.

Shots are often wonky. Bumps are unpredictable. One post said an update will improve physics. Would like to see tournament scoring system implemented as an option to offer quicker games. Games to 100 feel very slow. Feel tournament scoring rules (especially with 2P) is much more engaging way to play. Even if it’s not the official way.

The pot hole is odd sometimes a shot to the side will magically go in and sometimes not.
But I hate how it keeps resetting the view when the computer plays! I have to keep moving the view back.
Add online play!

Best crokinole game in the App Store. Gameplay against AI opponents is challenging and fun. Excellent physics and collision detection.
