Simply: Me,
Useful app But...
This is a useful tool to have, but on my ipad pro(9.7-inch)(ios 13.5.1) I seem to be unable to hide the calculator as it is done in the video, and it would be nice to be able to use the whole screen for the visualization. I have tried opening the menu, but the calculator doesn’t react(on my iphone opening the menu closes the calculator), and the calculator button doesn’t do anything. I have tried reinstalling the app and restarting the device, but it didn’t help. Is this a bug, is the calculator simply a permanent fixture, or am I just stupid?
Toneman182,
Still one of the best, but one question
I used this app's export function for papers and lectures several years ago. I recently came back to it, to plot some practice error surfaces for adaptive filters. But now I can't find the "Save" button/menu to save the whole set of equations, not just the exporting plots. The export menu doesn't seem to have a Save item. I checked with the dev's website but couldn't find anything. Any help appreciated.
Reddapi,
Frequently Use
I frequently use Visual Math 4d. A friend sent it to me because I always talk about math and draw functions or explain the algebra behind things...

I use the App to combat boredom, to learn about new domains, and, the elegance of the Visuals allows me to enjoy even the simplest parameters.

I would recommend this app to anyone.

I wish there was a community that discusses this app, as I have not seen any documentation or tutorial videos or message boards. The app seems to be powerful enough and maybe I am not looking in the right places.

Thanks for the great app!!
KesaGatame,
Spent 15-20minutes trying to plot e^-(i x) - no dice
Clearly many nice things about the calculator, but I couldn’t get it to plot a complex function using standard notation. Tried multiple plotting types, multiple ways of input. It’s either a limitation of the system or the documentation— either way there are too many competitors for me to continue spending effort trying to decode the limitations of the app. Pity — as this would be great for plotting wave equations. (It does work with sin/cos expressions — but I’d rather type my equations in binary...)
DKaniva,
Easy to use, ok app. Scaling/range could use work.
I like the ease of graphing with this app and in this regard, it's probably the most convenient and fast I've seen.

Unfortunately, a few graphs, like quadric surfaces, will show up incorrectly unless your scaling of the axes is exactly right. For example, when drawing an implicit graph of z^2=x^2+y^2, if the range is set to the default, it will graph a 2-sheet hyperboloid instead of a double cone. This is fine for graphs that I'm already familiar with, but would pose a big issue with graphs that are new. How would I ever know if what I'm seeing is correct?

If this gets fixed, I think this would, hands down, be the best graphing app in store.

Also, an undo button would be nice!!
Skidoggie,
Calculator doesn’t work!
This app is useless. The calculator doesn’t work. The only thing you can graph are the saved functions... you cannot enter anything! Totally useless...
robryd,
Question about graphing
The app seems to be quite powerful but I have a simple problem: I can’t figure out how to change the scales on the x and y axes. Surely there is a way to do this. The default seems to be -6 to 6 on both axes with the rather odd subdivisions of 0.6. Hopefully the developer can set me straight and I can add two more stars.
wedexl,
Great app, but some struggles
It’s an inspiring app, refreshing my math skills and learning new.
But the Delete button is nicely hidden - takes a while to find out how to correct typing mistakes.
How about a simple Backspace button in the Num block?
reybako,
Nice and easy to visualize
Great 3D calculator to help you visualize. Does more than what it looks it can do. It'd be nice to have access to help/examples videos.

Love ❤️ this app.. never thought it would be possible on my iPhone 👌🏻
