Description

The word "VITAMIN" is derived from the Latin word "VITA" which means "VITALITY" or "LIFE". Indeed, our life would not be possible without vitamins.

This minimalist app tracks your nutrients. It is simple and full of useful functions at the same time. The app is fully compatible with Apple Health enabling you to monitor the state of your health the way you're used to. There are iCloud backups that ensure seamless sync between your devices and keep your data safe in case you lose your device.

The dietary supplements section automatically calculates how many vitamins and minerals you get and saves them.

The pills section empowers you to create any pills unsupported by Apple Health. For example, you can add vitamin D3, Aspirin or any other tablet you plan to track.

You can always go back to your nutrient-tracking history. Sometimes you might need to analyze your past eating habits or give the report to your doctor. Monthly and yearly summaries give you a good perspective into longer periods of time.

A list of foods, recommended by the USA National Institute of Health, is shown for each vitamin and mineral.

Initially, each vitamin and mineral defaults to a recommended daily average for an adult.

Apple Watch app supports all watch faces and provides useful information about your nutrients.

(1) - Supplements support allows you to create all kinds of multivitamins, multi-minerals, and more.
(2) - Max number of custom pills and supplements is 10 with 2 of each free.
(3) - Upper limit for vitamins and minerals is increased because some multivitamins might have doses of 10000% of the daily value. In the future, we plan to find a good alternative that allows entering high numbers and warnings when you go over the recommended upper limit.

JustusLeague7,
Good start, needs a few more features
Love the app so far, however it would be great if I can scan the barcode of a product and that information populates automatically rather than me staring at a label and inputting it manually. More control over the measurements as well, I had to input MG for something that was MCG, for example 7 mg instead of 7mcg. Allow us to type the number in rather than pressing the plus or minus sign. Some measurements allowed decimal points while some were only whole numbers, I think decimal points should be on all of them as not all vitamins measure the same. A vitamin “diary” or calendar view so I know which days I took which supplements. A daily dashboard so I know how much of a certain vitamin/mineral I have taken for the day, based on the daily nutrition value, so that I don’t overdose.
LexiH7,
Good way to track certain vitamins
The app works well but is limited. Vitamins are tracked by manually inserting each amount and an icon pops up to tell you if it was more or less than the last time. It has a list of Vitamins A, B 1-12, C, D, E, and K. I wish there was a separate thing for K1 and K2 as there are for all of the B vitamins. Especially since many people take k2 specifically for calcium absorption and K1 has different functions. Also I have some supplements that have more than the allotted amount for certain vitamins so I have to make multiple entries instead of one.
UI Designer 2020,
Does what it should
I have been using this app for some time now. In my opinion it is great app that has even more potential. For example, I think it would be awesome to add reminders to vitamins and some trends would good.

The feature I love the most is Supplements, it saves me so much time. Basically I take several different vitamins on regular basis. Instead of entering each one separately, I have created one supplement that contains all vitamins I take, and it just one tap for me to track them all. And it also gets synced to my Apple Health.
Barbara9987,
Great!
It is surprisingly hard to find an app that helps you FIND what foods are good for which vitamins. I love that! The one thing I would love to see added is an entry for fiber, for tracking that and having the list of high fiber food suggestions. Keep up the great work!
UNITED...NATIONS,
Reports to Health App
I only gave it 3 stars because it reports to the Health app on my phone. Smh… Wish it had a data base or option to create custom Vitamin Supplements and Probiotics. It’s disappointing the only way to track it is to add each vitamin separately. It’s a bummer and a time killer. Not sure if I’m going to use this app If it’s no quick way to capture supplement data quickly on a daily basis. A bar scanner would be nice. Perhaps they need to make a paid version or add apps to upgrade the features. The app has potential.
Kawenakolina,
Nice Start but Loads of Work to be useful
Maybe I’m missing some features of how to fully use this app…
Daily/monthly reports of the vitamins and / or minerals you’ve taken for the day can be review in some type of reports.
It would be nice to include DV to see if someone is taking over the recommended doses.
Nice graphics & love the visual of suggested food sources for the vitamins & minerals.
And thank you for an app sans advertisement
Anthony2994,
I like the app.
I agree with previous review. I like the app otherwise. Just needs a few more minerals. Some I had to add on my apple health app. Not a big deal though.
arcanstar,
Great app
Hi I saw that it had a food wheel but after I enter my vitamin data from my multivitamin it disappeared is there a way to keep it to track your vitamin and mineral intake of food consumption. I was curious.
Phillip Lanos,
Just what I was looking for
Can’t wait to have this automatically track my supplementation into my Health app. Perfect.
allymeows69,
It’s helpful but i have a suggestion…
I like it and it’s very helpful in tracking most of the main vitamins i’m in taking but it’s missing some vitamins you’re able to input like collagen for example.
