Adjust what cues are displayed for each language, to make it appropriate for first-time-language learners or students learning a second language.

this game is cool!!
i really like this game. i have started five minutes ago and have already learned a lot of new stuff! i have been wanting to learn french my whole life. now i can! i know I'm not a little kid, but that doesn't matter! i am not too old for this. its fun and educational! if you haven't, give this game a try!

Fantastic
This is a great app for any beginner, but especially well designed for younger children. It really has fantastic challenges without feeling overwhelmed or panic. I'm 54yo & learning French is on my bucket list, so I have found a few apps & really recommend this one to just get started. The app combines the word, picture & auditory!! The sound you can repeat as often as needed. You will learn basic names of colors, numbers & objects that are sorted by subject such as music or classroom supplies. The app makes learning fun without the stress. Parent's can learn alongside their children. I also agree with others in that the music needs an off switch & developers need to know that I was not able to get to this review page from the game site although I was reminded to do so aprox. every 10m or so, it simply goes to a blank app store page and stays locked. For the color of violet it sounds like she is a saying julie, I didn't quite get that connection but don't know enough to know if thats the correct pronunciation or not?

Love it!!!
My husband is half French (father) and half Mexican (mother). He speaks English French and Spanish fluently and yet he still has not helped me to learn French. We live in California so Spanish is just kinda picked up. I don't speak Spanish well but I understand it. This French learning game is great. Now I can learn a few things and have started to surprise him. We have been together for 9 years and I'm just now learning but I'm picking up quickly and loving it!!!

Great for beginners!
This game works with visual and auditory responses. This is important because a person has to have practice in both areas of a language. It starts out very basic and gets harder as the player progresses. It also rates 1-3 starts on each level the player completes. This is a nifty trick to drive perfectionists nuts.
Loud background music,
Fix background music please!
Background music is too loud and never stop!! Please let us have the choice of turning it off or provide us only word sound within background music loop! The background music is killing whole good features of this app!

I took French thousands of years ago, and have learned more in two days of playing this "game" than I did back then. It's a great refresher. You will find it a fun way to learn this beautiful French language. P.S.----it's not just for kids!

Easy and catcy
This is a fun review for me. I took French in high school and as an undergrad student but haven't used it in about ten years. Now my doctoral program requires proficiency in two languages! This may be for kids, but after all the serious reading I must do, I enjoy playing this!

It is perfect to use whe I have a free afternoon, but the background music is loud and annoying please make a setting to Change this otherwise, perfect! I have been using ie for about a month and I am already becoming fluent!!

Phenomenal app
I can't stop using it. It's both fun and insightful. I can't explain how quickly I was able to pick up French. I've impressed so many people in such a short time. If only they had spanish!

A bit of a problem
It's nice that the app teaches vocabulary, but French it's not like English. In English, the definite article doesn't matter that much because "the"is the only definite article used in the language. French, however, has masculine and feminine; so if you're going to introduce a word, you need to introduce it with its article.
