Vocal Hack 1.10.1 + Redeem Codes

I’ve been on Vocal for a few years now, at first to practice my writing here and there, and eventually a pretty regular reader. i’ve been waiting forever for Vocal to launch as a mobile app and i have to say, i only downloaded it a week or 2 ago and am already obsessed!!! i’ve been trying to be more mindful of the mindless scrolling on my phone and trying to be intentional about reading thoughtful, interesting content that makes me thing. Since downloading this app I’ve already spent so much less time scrolling through mindless sites, and find myself more and more popping in to read a few articles throughout the day. It’s so easy to access in app form, right on my home screen, and altogether just a valuable discovery tool for me as a reader (so far.). excited to see what else they release feature-wise.
TLDR- it’s a great app, easy to navigate and altogether awesome content to discover.

I joined vocal after seeing an ad on Instagram a few years back. I’m a big fan of the lifehack community, which kind of reminds of a subreddit I’ve been following for a while. I’ve only published a few stories on Vocal, but I consistently come back to read the new top stories. I guess I’m more of a Vocal reader?

Anyways, im a HUGE fan of the app, since I no longer have to remember to visit the website, and just have the app on my iPhone Home Screen, along with Instagram, Reddit and the other “news” apps. So far they’ve updated the app almost every week which is cool to see. Waiting to see if there are new things to do on the app as opposed to the Vocal website, but congrats Vocal… You’ve made it my iPhone first app page.

I have been waiting for Vocal to come out with an app so I can read during my commute! I enjoy reading on the Vocal app instead of mindlessly scrolling on my social media apps. There is a huge variety of communities to choose stories from which fits perfectly for when I want to switch from reading something educational to a fun fiction short story. I also love the clean design of the app and how easy it is to navigate and follow my favorite authors.

I want to preface this by saying I love Vocal and all that it does. This app is very clean and easy to navigate.

BUT.

I wish it did more. As it stands currently, it’s virtually useless for creators. I can’t use it to upload or manage my stories in any capacity, check stats, or basically anything.

Even as a reader, it offers very little compared to the website. I can see Top Stories and any authors I’m subscribed to and that’s it. I can’t browse categories or search for anything in particular.

The website’s features that allow users to browse is part of how new and unestablished authors gain readership. The app doesn’t allow that. In fact, it even punishes them. Only authors you are already subscribed to and authors who are lucky enough to get a Top Story are rewarded as the app stands now. I think an app for this website is a great idea, but I haven’t wanted to interact with it since downloading it because of the huge drawbacks. It makes way more sense for me to open up the website in my browser. And that just isn’t the mentality you want anyone to have when interacting with your app.

I’ve been on the app for over a year now. I can definitely say that this app is a life changer when it comes to access. There are so many times I wanted to just grab my phone and read a story well I had a few minutes to kill. That’s the great thing about Vocal - there is so much great content that can be read quickly. For this reason, the app is a no brained and the perfect complement. So far, no glitches and I’m loving it!

I use vocal often whenever I am researching a topic or product because it has personal reviews in the form of storytelling that makes the research not only fun but trustworthy being that real people are writing these stories. The platform is extremely diverse as well so you will never find yourself bored using this app. I would 100% recommend this to a friend and family member!

I read stories on Vocal daily so I was delighted to hear they made an app. I love that the stories are written by real people who are enthusiastic about improving their writing. The app interface is clean and easy to use. I’m excited to see what they develop next (Vocal, if you’re reading this: it would be great to write drafts on the go!).

I enjoyed using the vocal website before the app came out, but now I find myself reading so much more than I used to. The design of the app is strongly oriented towards readers so it makes it really easy to just scroll through. Love to read vocal stories from my favorite creators on my commute, it’s one of the quiet highlights of my day.

So happy to finally have vocal on my phone after years of using the web version. I can now stay up to date with my favorite writers and enjoy my time reading during my commute. The user interface is also very clean and easy to navigate, can’t wait for more updates! 🙌

So convenient for traveling or anyone that’s on always on-the-go! I don’t always have a hard copy book on me, but I love reading the fiction stories on this app. So many people put their all into writing such elaborate fantastical stories it’s nice to have an all in one place to read them and support some of the creators.
