Volleyball Planner is the essential tool for fine tuning your volleyball team's rotation as well as teaching plays and formations. Works for teams with between 6 and 12 players.
Modes:
Edit Lineup - Players can be customized with names, gender, primary and secondary skills as well as pictures. These settings will be reflected on the players icons to better assist you in setting up your rotation. Rotations can be saved and loaded to help you compare rotations used for different matches.
Rotation - Flip through your teams rotation using the backward and forward. This is a great way to make sure your setters lined up correctly and have proper attackers and diggers ready in all rotations of your games.
Playbook - Create and save plays for your team to reference. Move around your players, put the volleyball in play and draw up the plays that you want your team to run during your games.
Formations - Create and save formations for your team to reference. Having trouble explaining where your players should be positioned in specific situations? Show them using the Formations mode.
Note: This app was created based on my experience in recreational leagues where we rotate in the whole team during games. Planning for more competitive leagues can be done by setting substitutes as inactive so they do not factor into the rotation in Rotation mode.

App doesn't support more than 10 players. Will not let me place a player in the middle front position. Places two players on top of each other in the front row and it will not remove one, only replace. IPad Air. Are you going to address these problems?

Rotation is incorrect
Does not let you rotate by actual volleyball rules and rotation, that’s what I needed it for. What a waste of a dollar. Useless.

I don't know what the heck all the people are complaining about because this app is perfect for what I wanted. Most of these apps are super hard to use and over complicated. A baby could operate this app and it does just what u need if ur a cyo, YMCA, club, coach. If ur a youth coach this app is PERFECT!!!! All the little things u want to track are covered and very easy to setup. Just the basics is all u need. Basic roster, lineups, rotations, etc. all worked great except for one little glitch with the keyboard in the latest OS covering the save button on one of the screens (I'm sure an OS app update will fix later). I'm sure the developer will fix that eventually. For now I just used the microphone button to be able to hit the save button. Other than that this app is awesome and just right for my needs. Try it out!!!!! Can't beat it for 1 buck.

Simple but works
Needed a simple app to track the lineups & rotations of my numerous teams and this fits the bill perfect. An earlier version kept crashing but that bug has been fixed... Thankfully!
No, it doesn't track stats or anything like that but it does let you rotate your lineups all the way around so you can see strengths & weaknesses in your lineup.

Unable to choose substitutions all done automatically hard to use not a good user interface. No libero, not many options for formations not able to freely move around players
