Walkie Talkie Standard Hack 1 + Redeem Codes

It would be great if you could add a vibration or text tone for when someone tries to speak for the first time. I put my phone in my pocket with the app still running but can't hear when someone is trying to talk to me. I'd be able to feel a vibration, so it would he nice if there was a way to add that. Otherwise you have to hold your phone the whole time you're using the app or else you wont know when someone is trying to talk to you.

This application is handy for Itouches and/or iphones that dont have service or a wifi or 3g network in range.
Great for airsoft/paintball, outdoor games, or skulking about at night and communicating with friends who also have this app.

It isn't Skype. It's not FOR wifi. If you have a phone you have no use for this application overall.
It, like all the other bluetooth apps is meant to allow you to use bluetooth to communicate.
HENCE THE NAME...

ALSO... make sure BLUETOOTH IS ON. And if you still have problems try turning wifi off. (This will also save battery.)

-easy to use. push to talk, recieve automatically
-great range! (I tested it in my house and my friend on the other house heard me perfectly clearly in my house ATLEAST 60 feet away. Through plenty of walls.
-it's free!
-Nice little line graph showing who is talking and at what volume!

-lacklustre interface! no skins or anything to remedy this.
-not very stealthy. I recommend turning down the screens brightness if you find this a problem.

-It doesnt have a gradual dropoff- it SHARPLY declines in quality once out of range. This is something to consider.
-takes a minute to detect others.

This is a really cool app-so get it
I only read the reviews for apps because I respond to bad reviews:
-why are people whining for an update? This app already has what your looking for in a WALKIE TALKIE app!
-also, technology isn't far enough to use something like this without a good Internet connection (at least what I know of) So if you wasted your time reading this, because your thinking of downloading it, just get it-and a reminder: the person you want to connect to has to have the app and have running for it to work

This is the perfect app for short range voice communication without making a phone call or texting. Although this is not ideal for long term use because the wifi and Bluetooth will eat your battery up! If you want a true walkie talkie you can find cheap ones for around $20 for 2. This app does clearly work as advertised but isn't a dedicated communication solution. Bravo to the developer for making this, but it's not really practical.

One day, it was 42° degrees and the birds were chirping on the trees. (Hey that rhymed, gold star for me😄) so I invited my friend a$ over to eat a pear with me. We decided it'd be fun to ride bikes while we ate our pears. Turns out neither of us are very good at multitasking, whoops ;) so then we figured we'd climb trees, here's where the problem comes up.. We both fell in love with two different trees. To solve this problem we thought hey let's get walky talkys. We went on this wonderful App Store and looked them up, happy to see this app first. As we downloaded it we learned that EVEN WHEN WE WERE SITTING RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER, for multiple hours on end, APPARENTLY WE NEEDED SOME DANG FANGLED WIFI FOR THIS PROCESS TO EVEN WORK CORRECTLY.

It really works and its not confusing all u do is push the talk button And talk and if you can't hear anything turn up your volume cuz the sound chould be off and me and my sister tried it I sat in our room she went to the backyard witch is 15 feet away from our room and it still worked awesome app buy this amazing app also you don't have to plug in a microphone hello u have a microphone on your phone u guys are just dume

This is so AWESOME!! It works AMAZING!! I LOVE everything! The only thing that could be a little better is the sound... You have to talk loud so the other person can hear you but maybe if you had earphones in it would work better. THANKS SO MUCH TO THE PEOPLE THAT MADE THIS I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the fact that you don't need wifi to use it so AWESOME!! Me and my sister love it so much! Thanks to the people that made y'all deserve the best app award totally!!

Everyone who claims it doesn't work obviously doesn't have friends! Get your friend to get the app, turn on Bluetooth (wifi is better, but for all you people who don't have wifi...) BOTH of you turn the app on, go sit upstairs and chit chat. It's fun, it's not for talking over miles and miles. Go to a laser quest and have fun, little stuff like that.

I had thought about buying an intercom system, being that I'm usually downstairs watching some "sporting event" as my wife puts it, lol. Being that we already had two iPods, I knew somebody out there was clever enough to invent an app just like this one. Works great. Saved a few $$. Thanks.
