Addictive but glitchy
I really like this game , but it can be confusing as you have to figure out how to get to certain areas to get everything on a certain level. This means that you may have to use one shell to defeat enemies and then switch to a different shell to push a button. For me, it’s still fun trying to figure it all out. Also, it is very glitchy. At one point I was ready to just un-install. It was after you get all three flames lit and you have to enter the volcano gate. The purple spirit thing would laugh and then nothing would appear until I spun or prodded it somehow and then once defeated them all the camera zoomed like another set of enemies were fixing to spawn but nothing happened but also nothing changed to where I could walk across so I walked back to the purple spirit thing trying to get it to trigger and eventually things did appear randomly. It went on like this for awhile and it was like I was just stuck in limbo. I tried again the next day and everything finally worked right, but I’ve experienced more glitches like this further along in the game. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m in the newer add on content now or what. Overall I think it’s worth playing, but you really have to be a patient person.

Update but now glitchy
I love way of the turtle since I first played it. It is an excellent game I hope 🤞 you get this game. Unfortunately, I have already passed through a big bug. Before, when you didn’t update the game,there was no glitch. I can freely play but there is now. I’ll tell you. So when you’re playing this game I want to explore a dark version of the island, tap on the game and it will immediately cut off. I don’t know 🤷♀️ why but it sure is a huge glitch. illusion labs please fix this or I will delete your game. Nope 👎 not forever ♾ you said you polished the game and fixed some bugs you added one ☝️ glitch! That’s totally unfair why would you do that? 😭 Now you’re restricting all the players please respond to this review now. Or I will get the glitch fixed by myself. you know game should Be fixed or I have a great 😊 inspiration or your bug will kill the game. Lots of fun, but ending was rushed
So kuddos to the developer, extended the whole rotating 3D graphics know from Mr. Crab and extended it into a full fledged game. Just finished playing from end to end and it was enjoyable (albeit seemed short).
The mountain area is buggy and there are instances (right after obtaining the level 2 Panzerknacker) were you can get stuck, get off the path and all kinds of weird glitches happen. The boss battle and the “to be continued” just underscore my opinion. Not necessarily a game stopper, but makes the game feel rushed and unpolished.
4/5 stars, mainly because of the length and the controls that are frustrating at times. Also, it’s easy to get lost and not figure out where to go making you wander endlessly (would be nice to figure out a way to let players know where to go).

Love this game, but are you going to fix it?
This is my favorite Apple Arcade game. But since the last update it crashes every time on this one level. So frustrated! I have contacted support and they no longer reply to my emails. Please update with a fix! I paid for a year of Apple Arcade so I could play this game.
Update- It has been fixed! I have finished the game a few times. Still has a few small glitches, but way better than before the last update. I love the cute characters! It’s challenging, but not so hard that I can’t get it. I am able to master it after trying for awhile. Thanks!

It’s like that classic blue hedgehog game but with a turtle and less stuff to collect (thankful). Really good platformer with a shell switching puzzle element where you unlock new abilities that expand the cute 3D island world as you explorer.
The touch controls on the iPad aren’t great so my guess is this plays better with a controller. My little turtle went into the lava or spikes so many times due to unregistered taps. The turtle walks automatically so unless you encounter a wall you fall constantly. While frustrating the game has many save points so you don’t have to replay the challenging parts too many times.
Despite a few glitches where moving elements of the world didn’t reset I found it pretty entertaining. The graphics are top notch, colorful and smooth with lots of nice details, thumbs up to the art department.
I would like to see a difference in the characters, the girl and boy turtle play the same so other then finding all the hidden items there is no reason to replay the levels.
All in all I found it an enjoyable adventure 🐢👍🏼🏝🌋

Glitches??
Soo I enjoy this game, good graphics and good storyline, but I’ve had to start over multiple times to try and fix a glitch that just ends up happening again. The glitch is that I’ll die, and when I start over, suddenly my shell doesn’t work. Says no ability. If I go back to a checkpoint, it doesn’t give me the option to switch shells anymore. Thus I have to start AGAIN and hope it doesn’t happen again. This last time it happened and I died, when I came back I had the plain original shell and still no option to change shells.

Great game, with a few annoying bugs
Very fun game, not too hard to get into but provides some excellent platforming challenges later on. Highly recommend for an experience similar to the Crash Bandicoot games.
A few bugs prevented me from giving this a full five stars, the final boss has some major bugs that make it a chore to finish, platforms despawn at the wrong times, or won’t spawn at all. Another major bug I ran into was while collecting all the shards I missed, I found that one in Magma Ridge is unobtainable upon revisiting the level, locking me out of completion. It also doesn’t show up on the map, that area is checked off for shards.

Fantastic game!
This has everything you want in a game.
The graphics rotate and it doesn’t feel linear. You switch between 3 shells, each with a special ability. A beautifully immersive world is home to this amazing game and it holds true to every promise it makes.
Also I just cleared Lava Lair and hope that it really is to be continued. Please.
For the devs: I’m having trouble with the pre-volcano area. I hit the switch and nothing happens. I go in and out, the bridge sinks...with me on it, poofs me back to checkpoint. Bridge is still sunk. Walk into the lava again and Bridge is back but I am at 1 ❤️ and have a hard time. Help?
Also could you add more ways to use coins; I am frequently at max ❤️s, ruling out the soda. I am not a completionist, meaning I do not get all the gophers and have no use for candy. I dislike items like the Candy and Gizmo due to them practically cheating. And now I am a millionaire with nothing to buy!
Also in the Molten Respite the dude says he has new stuff but doesn’t.

This game is great!
So like I said it’s great ! But the story is poorly written!The gameplay was awesome. I love the 3D animation (except the turtles). I think the worst world is “Road of the Wilderness “. But my favorite world is either “The climb” or “Gopher beach”. My problem is when you rescue all the gophers you don’t get a reward which is crazy!😡 Oh and the movement of the characters is soooooooooooo lazy! And when it says “to be continued” at the end of gooey stew, you should definitely update it with a new plot and new worlds so we can have some fun after the final battle. So final thoughts: Pretty good but work on the animation,story and update it after the battle with a new menace!

I love this game! Once I started I wanted to keep playing until I finished the game. There was a problem when I entered the gate at the end of chapter 3. When I lose the battle and it returns me to outside the gate I cannot start back over without freezing up and sinking into the lava then I have to fall into the lava and use up my stars before I can go in and start the battle like the very first time I entered. I also have enough for 5 hearts yet it hardly ever gives me 5. And the map would be great if we could go to each dot not just the general area. So hope you keep adding chapters!
