AmFromMars,
Looks promising but needs a little tweaks
When entering your major, you need to select from the provided fields. New majors are created and some choices don’t capture the major as a whole. It would be good if we had the option to fill in the blank with a custom major instead of being forced to choose from what’s given to you and closest to what your major might be. Also on the homepage where the jobs are listed, it’s awkward to scroll to the bottom completely on older iPhone. The hot bar covers the bottom listing. Thanks!

This Is My 2nd Time Using The App, The First Time It Put Me On The Web And I Was Able To Find Places In Houston, Tx. So, I Went On The App Instead And I Put The Location For Houston, Tx, USA, But This Time It Says “Hmmm, No Matching Jobs Found!” So I Was Looking Confused Because Not To Long Ago I Was Able To Find A Few Places In Houston, That I Also Saved On The Web After I Logged In And On The App, It Said You Don't Have Any Saved.... So Now To The Next Day, I Tried Again M, But This Time I Used All The Filters They Had, The Only Ones I Didn’t Use Were From The Location And Its Because I Inly Stay In One Place “Houston, Tx” So That Was The Only One That Was Checked For Location, I Checked Every Single One In The “Industry” Part And Alternated The Filters From “Most Relevance - Recent” & From “All Year - Entry Level” & I Got The Same Thing... The Only Thing That Was Different This Time Is That The Ones I Had Saved Were No Available In The “My Jobs” Part... So If You Plan On Using This App, I Would Say It’s Better To Go Online And Do This.
gwiz*ishotu,
Crashed repeatedly, 404 errors everywhere
At first it looks quite good. I was able to create a profile relatively quickly, and customize. Of course after making all the edits, it crashes and when I logged in again, all of my edits were gone back to square one. So I did it again and yet again, it crashed once more same result. Infuriating.
Also to note that it forces you to put in dates of your graduation which may lead to some age discrimination issues as well, for those of you who have been out of college a few years and making a career change.

So I went to look at jobs to see if it was even worth the trouble of trying to set my profile again, and simple answer no, don’t waste your time.

First there is no location service, so despite you putting in your location, it still will show you jobs across the country. I went on to my laptop to see if the full version was better but still the same, getting lots of 404 errors.

Next, it’s job category and titles are limiting, so if you have a few interests or career paths, you will be forced to scroll through hundreds of irrelevant jobs, which are also not relevant due to location too, yuck.

Final, it looks good, decent idea, but terrible functionality and connectivity issues bug this app making it unusable. Dreading to go logon to figure out how to erase my profile now.
Krzymonkey_Photography,
I enjoy using the app
I’ve spent numerous days and nights trying to find jobs listed out of New York City and close to home but it’s been so hard trying to find something that worked with travel time and school. Once I found WayUp it’s become so much easier to find jobs that work with my class hours it’s easier to talk to email a director or recruiter telling them the days I need to work and it helps out. I just got hired for my first job and it’s going well so far.

I appreciate the WayUp team and hope they continue doing a good job
ambervert,
Wow. Excellent
I just was blown away by this app! I'm sitting in church and I get a notification for a job opportunity that I'm so pumped up about now. I would have never even thought about being a camp councilor if not for the recommendation and invitation to apply for this job. Now I'm inspired to seek out other similar job opportunities because I believe I've found my true calling. THANK YOU !!
Erikavonit,
Major Fix
If you're going to state that you will adhere to not only college students but recent grads as well, then please make sure that is reflected in the sign-up process. If I select recent grad then it you should not ask me my expected graduation date. I've already graduated. Also don't make me sign up with my email from college either. It won't be in use anymore seeing as I have already graduated, as stated when i signed up. Other than that, I'm sure the app is great for job opportunities. Just clean up the sign-up process.
Merritt11,
99% amazing
I wish the app had an easier menu section. I still feel lost when I use it. However, I have received many job offers and just got offered a six figure job because of this. Definitely recommend it:)
Zoe013,
Garbage from the jump
I figured I'd use the app to look for summer jobs I can have once I leave the military. Didn't even get a chance to do that because on the "verify your email" portion, once you click the verification link in your email it'll take you right back to the "verify your email" page on the app, and the app won't respond at all. I waited for fifteen minutes for it to work and still nothing. Closed and opened it again, nothing. Resent the verification emails twice and still nothing. Very telling of the kind of app I'm dealing with if one is having problems before their account is even created.
StylistDesign,
Couldn’t even try it
This app is way too glitchy. I tried to sign on with my FB account and it glitched. It wouldn’t approve my actual degree I had so i had to pick one that i don’t have. Also, when i tried to push the swipe button when it came to the alternate email page, it wouldn’t let me swipe the button. And finally, when i tried to choose a profile picture the screen went white for 3mins and i just couldn’t take it anymore. I deleted the app and the app update was up to date so there’s no excuse.
iteigellis,
The continuity of the App and online version are drastic.
This is an ok app, I’ve never really used it out of the 2 years I had it until now. I am looking for job opportunities and I feel like the app is not a good way to find it. As there are a lot of job posting that are from 2017 that has not been regulated it’s seems like for a while. If they were to update jobs and make sure employers keep valid posting up it would be great. Especially for recent grads
