Description

The WDW Fan Zone is a community of people who enjoy topics related to Walt Disney World by sharing passion, knowledge, and memories. This app brings our community’s content streams together at your fingertips.

Each of the features below are available in the app with the ability to quickly jump from one to the other using the easily accessible icons on the bottom tool bar.

YouTube
- See a list of our YouTube videos including video versions of our podcasts
- Touching any accompanying image will load the image in Instagram
- Search for specific videos by their titles and abstracts/descriptions

Podcasts
- Find our most recent podcasts and read the corresponding summaries
- Launch a specific podcast in audio mode through Apple Podcasts or in video mode through TalkShoe using the Play button (toggle the Apple/TalkShoe button to determine which version)
- As with YouTube, detail about any accompanying image can be viewed in Instagram when touched

Instagram
- Take a look at all of our latest photos on Instagram including recent shots from the parks

Twitter
- See the WDW Fan Zone Twitter feed in the app

Facebook
- See the WDW Fan Zone Facebook feed in the app

Version 2.1 allows you opt in for push notifications. If opted in, you will receive notifications when new podcasts are available in the app. After installing the update, open the app and accept notifications when prompted. From then on, you will receive the notifications when they are posted.

Version 2.0 of the WDW Fan Zone reflects the shift in the WDW Fan Zone community with a revised set of features. There are no longer Articles, but you can now easily find and launch our YouTube videos (including our podcasts). You can also find and stream our podcasts in Apple Podcasts (audio) and TalkShoe (video). You can also see all of our recent photos in our Instagram stream, and continue to see our Twitter and Facebook posts.

This version has a few bug fixes, enhancements, and new features.

Fixed Bugs:
1. Podcasts will no longer be included in search results on the Articles view.
2. Formatting for some tweets was corrected on the Twitter view (including user names and additional information icons).

Enhancements:
1. The Twitter view can now scroll past the initial list, similar to Articles and Podcasts.
2. Images in the Articles and Podcast lists are now centered vertically for a better look (iPhone only).
3. An icon to link to the WDW Fan Zone Instagram page was added on the Welcome view.

New Features:
1. A "Play" button was added for many of the most recent podcasts on the Podcast view to more easily play an individual podcast from the list. Give a listen!
