WDW Today Channel Hack 1.01 + Redeem Codes

For those of you who do not understand what this is, this is a channel that you get on your in-room television while at a Walt Disney World resort. This app is live streaming this exact channel to your phone. The music loops this exact way at Disney - no, the developers can't change that. No, the music won't restart when you open and close it, because it's being LIVE streamed to your phone. If you were at your room at your Disney resort right now with this channel on your tv, this is EXACTLY what you'd see and hear!

I am so happy that I found this! I spend a lot of time at Disney World. This is the channel that I keep my TV on my entire trip. I literally thought I was the only one who loved this channel but I'm so glad I was wrong!

I would have given my review 5-stars, but as some individuals expressed in other reviews, there are some app issues that need to be addressed. When an AD pops up, it messes with the sound and picture. I understand ads are essential to a free app, so 1) there should be a way to have an ad pop up without affecting app performance, and 2) offer a paid option to get rid of the ads. My only other issue at this time is that I would be amazing to be able to have this play in the background if I'm using another app or if the screen is off.

I downloaded the app a few days ago as the parks were slowly reopening. I love listening to the music and sometimes I sing along. However, since all the parks have reopened now every time I look to see what time the parks are open till, all it says for each one is, “Closed” and I don’t understand why. The first time I saw this was for Magic Kingdom and I checked somewhere else for myself and it said it was open till 7PM.

Did or is anyone else experience the same problem? If you did, how did you fix it. I would greatly appreciate any help and suggestions. Thank you in advance.

I just tried it again today and having even more problems. I got an error message. Hows anyone ever received that? What did you do and do you have any tips on what I could/should do to fix it?

Let me drop my resume, I am a season pass holder from Pennsylvania and I go 2-3 a year to Disney. Let me first say that this app is genius. I love the concept. I love opening it and going “MK is open until 1 AM tonight!?” I love hearing the music. I love reemerging myself into the bubble.

Having said that, it is certainly not the “actual” WDW Today channel in the resorts. It is clearly a reproduction. And that’s ok. But it needs cleaned up. The times should read “8 am” not “8am” and the transitions are too quick. There are small errors that can be noticeable and if you take a look at the real thing you will notice them. Everything else is pretty close to the real thing. Bravo.

Downloaded this a few days ago & worked great for all of 2 days. Then the pop up ads started which then made the regular viewing screen of "today's schedule" cut off halfway on the iPhone after the ad was closed. As another reviewer said, the sound does cut off from time to time. Sometimes it comes back but other times you have to close and reopen the app. Anytime you exit the app the music quits playing and you have to keep your screen lit the entire time. I'm not sure if this is the actual music that Disney syncs to the channel but it's basically a loop of instrumental Disney tunes with Nutcracker tunes. Awesome idea as I love the music but weak on the function of it. With the half screen glitch - you can't use this apps for park, show times, etc. There are better apps to use including the My Disney Experience App by Disney. Would not recommend this app until an update is done which fixes the glitches.

The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is for 2 reasons. 1. Since the music is on a loop you should place the ad to happen in between songs. It always plays within the first minute of launching the app and kills the background music. 2. Aren’t the backgrounds supposed to be animated? Other then that I enjoy the app.

Love the app concept, but it’s not real-time. I just downloaded it and double checked the times on MDE and they were wrong. The app said the parks were closed as of 6pm EST today (Sept 27th 2020) yet they weren’t. The only park closed was AK, the other 3 parks are still open. I’ve seen comments that say it’s a livestream of whatever is playing at the Disney Resorts, but doesn’t look like it’s real time. Still appreciate the little extra Disney Magic on my phone, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless it gave real-time info. Just being honest.

It is not the actual channel that is playing in WDW, as advertised. If you look at the tv screen when on property, when a water park is not open, as one is currently closed right now for maintenance, it does not say “closed” underneath the title, it says “refurbishment”. The app says “closed”. And it is missing a lot of information that is on the closed circuit loop on property. That being said, it still gives me a little taste of “home”, so I’ll keep it.

I loooooove this app since it’s the live feed directly from the WDW resorts! I cannot tell you how many times I have turned this on for a few minutes as an instant Disney fix or have let it play for an hour in the background. It truly feels like I’m getting ready to get on the monorail!

I used to love this app- but it needs to be updated. The hours just say closed for all parks and seeing that is just depressing. Also it now has random ads- which ruins the feel and mood this app creates. I would rather pay for an ad free version- especially if you could pick your favorite resort to be included in the slide show. Also it needs the ability to cast or airplay to a larger screen.

I absolutely love this. It puts me back into my Disney dream every time I hear it. BUT it is not a live stream of the actual channel as some have stated in the other reviews. The music loop does in fact restart to the beginning every time you open it back up. Which for some reason makes it feel a little less special. But still love this app and the online version as well.
