WebcomiX is a web comic reader for the iPhone/iPad. it contains 100+ of the most popular webcomics. Add your favourites to the Favourites screen and get notifications if there are any new episodes. Get it now!
First launched in 2012 and now on version 3. Amongst its many features are;
*Add comics to the favorites screen. Green text means there are new episodes. Black text means you are up to date.
*Get notifications of new episodes.
*A comic will continue where you left off reading. No more reading the story backwards or bookmarking each it, each time you read it.
*Simple interface. It has buttons for Previous/Next, First/Last, Share and Goto. These work for ALL the comics so no more hunting around for the correct button on screen.
*If a comic uses "Alt Text" then there is a button to show it.
*Works on phones AND tablets.
*The Library screen lists all the comics sortable by name, genre, age or whether they have been recently added. Quickly add to favourites or get more info.
*It's free!!!
It is worth noting that we don't screen scrape the comics. We show the whole page and the owners get their advertising revenue even when you use this app. We have one small ad on the Favourites page. ANY other ad comes from the comics themselves and are out of our hands.

Eh.
I’ve been using this app to read Homestuck, but recently it hasn’t been loading. This is short, but i’ve been reading it a lot. It would be nice to fix this issue.

Minor issues, good overall
I love the app overall, especially the fact that it loads the actual web page. That allows the artist to get their ad revenue, unlike other screen scraper apps.
It does need some work though. The Grrl Power comic stopped registering updates a week or two ago, though you could still navigate to the new comic once you opened it. Now though, it fails to find it and won’t load at all. This issue is the one downside of an otherwise awesome app.

Ignorant review bombers
I’m not one to defend theft or piracy, and this app isn’t perfect, but the people leaving one-star reviews this week have obviously never used this app. If they did, they’d realize that it doesn’t crawl the comic pages and pull out only the images. (If it did, it would be faster and easier to use!) It’s just a browser and displays the comic pages wholesale, including any ads the site owners have up. No lost revenue here.

It’s nice to have something on my phone that isn’t a web browser to read on. That being said there’s a couple bugs that need to be worked on. When moving to the next page on some comics, the new page loads halfway up the screen so that the top fraction of it is cut off. Also, some comics that are episodic rather than a long contiguous plot (Paradox Space, for example) just don’t load on the app at all.

Can't navigate
My favorite web comics are here, but it's impossible to navigate. I checked Safari to see what page of the comic I'm on, and I entered that into the app so I could start from there, but it won't go to the page. The "First" and "Last" buttons work, but if I can't get to anything in between without scrolling one page at a time then I'm better off with just a browser. 2 stars because at least they have the comics I read.

Generally very good
I generally like the app, only a couple of issues:
* It’s a little slow loading pages at times
* A couple of comics I like are missing (like Sinfest and User Friendly”) and no obvious way to extend the list.
* Some comics with feeds that are working elsewhere are showing Fail all the time (like Ménage a 3)
Still very nice.

Theft
The webcomics and art work posted here is all stolen and no consent was asked from the creators. The person who created this platform is ripping off other people’s hard work and slapping adds on them to make revenue. Do not let someone‘s laziness be their revenue. This app is being reported so I suggest the owner take what they can and run before Apple comes down hard on you.

It’s illegal to include comics in your app without written confirmed consent
Many of the artists featured in this app did not consent to have their comics included. The app creator mentions that he asked permission, but he apparently also took no response as equivalent to permission, because many creators are just now finding out that their comics have been included without their knowledge or consent.

Formerly a great app, now incredibly broken
Any time I try to open any of the comics I follow (order of the stick, homestuck, and looking for group) in the app, it just crashes, ditto for every time I try to report a bug. I hope it gets fixed in the next update, because the app has otherwise been wonderful.

This app is awesome I love the webcomics on here but when I was reading homestuck it immediately took me to the end I would appreciate it if you fixed it
