wevew shares your photos and videos and mirrors your screens so you and your friends can experience them together. You don’t need mobile service or a WiFi network to share. No matter where you are, wevew can create your own network—it’s private and secure.
When you are out with your friends and everyone wants to get that picture, take it with wevew. Your photos are instantly shared with everyone in your network.
Open wevew and hold your iPhone close to another for just a couple seconds. wevew senses the distance and creates a lasting connection. Share your photo and your friends can see and interact with your picture. Share your video and play it--it plays in sync on your friends' iPhones.
After you share your photo or video, it’s still yours. Allow your friends to save it or not. When you are done sharing, you can unshare your it. If you close wevew and walk away, your photos are unshared automatically in about 15 minutes.
wevew asks for permissions to access your location, photos, and camera. We only use Location Services to see how far you are from your friends. We don’t do anything with your actual location. Photos permissions lets the app share your pictures and save ones you have received. Same when you try to take a picture. We ask for permission to use the Camera.

• In 3.3.3 we made lots of improvements to how we handle memory. Remember the last time you tried to share all of those photos from your trip and the app bombed out after 50 photos? And forget about sharing your panoramas. Sure they are fantastic, but inside your iPhone they are memory hungry monsters that just want more, more, more! Anyway, that is much better now.
• Made improvements to 3D touch support on the Sharing and Connections buttons (those buttons on the bottom of the screen). It’s still not perfect, but it's better. If you want to go back to the way things were, go to Settings > wevew and turn off 3D Touch.
• We lost and then found the Play button. On iOS 10 the background color wouldn’t show. The button was there, you just couldn’t see it. Through the power of technology, you can now see it.

Works with a bunch of iPhones
We tried using this to send a photo to 4 phones and that worked right off. It's pretty fun except when everyone is trying to move the picture around all at the same time. I like the windows at the bottom that show you where the pictures are seen. I think it would be better if you could tell who else is connected and who is sharing what.

I am a photographer and I really like to share my work. I put my best shots up to my iCloud account so I can get them on my iPhone or iPad Pro anytime I want to share. Usually that means passing my phone around to everyone, or huddling around the iPad. Enter WeVew, this app lets you share photos and videos to anyone in the immediate proximity, so I can share my work right to my iPad and the image on my phone is what shows on the iPad. Sure there are other apps out there that can do the same thing, but none that I have found that are this simple, or fast. Not sure how the folks at Spooky Group do it, but the photos sync up in less time than it takes to swipe. I have used others that can take up to a minute to sync, and it just slows the whole story down.
This app is great if you travel, or take tons of photos on your phone and want a few people to see at the same time. Everyone can load up the app and the images or videos from your device can be seen by all, you even have the option to keep the show synced or just let them view at their own pace. I like the sync, and can control the pace from my phone, so I can tell the story, see the photo my friends are looking at, and then move on to the next image.
This works great. I have not tried it yet but want to hook the iPad up to a TV, I have an HDMI connector, and hope I could display the iPad screen on a TV. That way I don't have to bring the Apple TV everywhere, or hope there is a wifi signal for it, and everyone at the party can see the goofy photos I take.
