Best Pregnancy App
This is my first pregnancy, but I’ve tried almost every other app and most of them are just weird, don’t track properly or you have to pay, this app is completely free and there’s a huge community of people and several different groups customized to age, gender of baby, gestational age, anxiety, even moms who have already had their kids that still talk and need advice from each other. The baby tracking is great and you can chose what little fruit or prop represents your baby for the week. There’s so many tools that help you track so many things and even has little articles about almost everything. This app helps you learn so much if you want to as well, and like I said it’s all free, there’s even weekly videos you can watch on how your baby is developing, and how it tracks the development is insanely accurate, and because there’s such a big community there’s people that are going through what your going through and so much more, and if you end up making a post, you’re definitely guaranteed to always get a response from atleast a few people. I love this app so much and and thinking about even keeping it after my pregnancy to join groups with moms after pregnancy. If you’re looking for a baby app this one really is the way to go!
Amber B3.,
Love this app !
I’ve been using this app since I first found out I was pregnant. I love being able to know how big she is, what’s going on with her growth & inside the womb & what’s going on with my growing bump as well!
My favorite part of the app would definitely be the community tab - if I have a question about anything, I can always make a post with my concern or can find other past posts that were regarding the same issue i’m having. Sometimes during pregnancy, you definitely can feel alone, & I feel like the community tab definitely helps those feelings subside when you see just how many other women are going through exactly what you are. Especially when you join a topic for your due date month! I’ve met so many different girls who are due either on the same day, or same week as I am & it makes me happy to know that I’m not the only one experiencing this or that.
Definitely would recommend this app to anyone who is expecting, even the S/O or a family member can join the app to see your progress too! (A plus is that you can continue to use the app even after your baby is born, the community topics extend far past postpartum too!).

So GREAT!
I love this app and recommend it to all moms! I started using it when I found out I was pregnant to keep track of my baby’s growth. It’s so fun to see what size fruit he compared to. Not only that, but the app gave more information about what was developing and growing!
I was always reading their articles about common pregnancy questions and “what to expect.” It was very informative and helped me feel ready for motherhood.
I also have the book which I would read alongside the app!
I now have a 5 month old and am still using the app! I’ve joined the community forums which have been great for reading about common concerns (makes me feel less alone). And most importantly, I keep track of baby’s feeds on this app!! This is especially important to me because I breastfeed and definitely have moments of forgetting how long it’s been since he ate. I log/ time his feeds every single time and it’s been a huge help with learning my baby’s preferences. It was also fun to see how his feeding schedule has been changing.
I’ll continue telling all FTMs to get this app because it’s been my saving grace.
vulture01,
Mostly a great thing
I’m liking this app- it has daily advice and videos and fun tools to utilize. It also has weekly posts on what’s happening with baby at whatever stage you’re in. I like that it offers advice in all areas of pregnancy and even gives sections on top rated customer reviewed products! Way better than googling it all!

My complaint is in the groups section. Once you put in baby due date info it suggests groups based on estimated month due. While this is cool, I’m finding that the people who Join the group aren’t even pregnant! They are trying to get pregnant and clog up the discussions by posting pics of their pregnancy tests 4 days after they ovulate and desperately ask people “can you see a positive line?!” It really irks me. I know the simple solution is to not go to the group discussions, but I feel it’d be better if they had a “trying to conceive” group and didn’t have anyone join one of month groups until they can enter their due date. My having so many people who are hyper paranoid about trying to conceive in the group it makes it too hard to have discussions with people who are actually on the same trajectory as you and it doesn’t make me want to start a discussion because the majority of the people I see posting aren’t even pregnant.

Disgusting App - DO NOT DOWNLOAD
Funny that they’ll very quickly find and delete your comment that they decide violates their terms and conditions but continue to allow the same women to harass and gang up on anyone who dares to express a slightly different opinion. I genuinely believe WTE is paying people to bully posters who do not believe in the mainstream narrative. I’ve been called an idiot, stupid, a lunatic, amongst a whole host of other insults just for stating an opinion and it’s always by the same people. These comments never seem to get deleted unless they are reported. But as soon as I point this fact out, my comment disappears with no explanation.

The fact that they’re preying on the emotions of pregnant women should be enough to have everyone stay off of this app. One of the “regulars” went out of her way to find a post another mother made almost a year ago about her anxiety behind the current Russia/Ukraine situation and how it was freaking her out, just to bring up a “nuclear threat” that was made against the US. It was so weird and inappropriate. If you know someone is terrified why would you go out of your way to remind them or give them more reasons to be upset? It was disgusting. And once again, when I pointed this out, my comment was deleted with no reason why. They’re trying to trauma bond with you. If you care about your mental health, STAY OFF OF THIS APP!

Peace of Mind
I have never written an app review before, this is my first. However, this app is so amazing I had to say something! I cannot believe this app is free. I found out I was pregnant at 28 weeks and I am just 20 yo so as you can imagine, my pregnancy was not planned in the slightest. I had no idea about babies and was freaking out. Finally, another young mom recommended I download this app. It was very helpful during my pregnancy to track baby’s development and for me to keep track of how far along I was for when I was asked at appts. The community chats were also very helpful when I was anxious or had any questions, they made me feel like I wasn’t alone. I thought once my baby was born I’d be deleting the app but boy was I wrong. I go on this app AT LEAST 3 times a day for my own pleasure (read articles, explore features, join chats, etc). They recently added a feeding tracker feature. I knew I wanted to put my baby on a feeding schedule and this app makes logging feedings so easy. I am truly in love with this app, and will continue to use it for a long time.
beccajopet,
Options on pregnant or not.
I thought I found out very early on that I was pregnant. I’m talking three weeks. I was ecstatic! I set up my profile and couldn’t wait to watch my baby grow. But I took more pregnancy tests again and again hoping to get a stronger line to show family and friends. (The original test was pretty strong there was no denying it was positive I just wanted more before telling family). But time and again all I got were negatives. Turns out I had gotten the rare and elusive false positive. I got my period about a week and a half after said positive. It broke my heart to have to say I wasn’t pregnant and that we wouldn’t be expecting our first. But I didn’t lose the pregnancy there just never was one. So it made me feel like a failure for not getting pregnant in the first place and an imposter for all those mommas out there hurting because they’d lost theirs. I wish you had another option for closing out the profile not just loss or birth. Perhaps a mistake or accidental set up. That is my only complaint about the app. Otherwise I loved all the information at my fingertips which would definitely help me from going down the google black hole.
Lindseyg1014,
Makes this experience easier and even more exciting!
I love this app! It’s a great tool during pregnancy and keeps me completely in-the-know about what’s happening in my body. I get so excited each week to open it up and watch my weekly video, my husband watched the videos with me so we both know exactly what’s happening and developing. Knowing what the baby looks like and having an idea of what’s growing that week makes the experience even more exciting to me. I love being informed, it makes me feel more at ease. This app definitely helps with that.
I also love the community message boards - for the most part. I try to only look at them a couple times a week, some women post things that can make me feel worried or I compare myself to them. I have to remind myself that every pregnancy is different! And I try to keep myself from opening the “scary” posts that could make me feel uneasy or stressed out. Even though I totally understand why someone with concerns would post to a message board - I just overthink! Overall, this app is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone!
CeMcK86,
Best after a loss (update)
I liked this app the most during my pregnancy. I had three I would look at regularly. I experienced a still birth at 21 weeks. This app was the only one that transitioned after I reported my loss, to a different version that talked about loss. It has given some great articles to read, and access to other women who are experiencing loss themselves. Thank you What To Expect. **(Update)** I have changed my review from 5 stars to a one star. After the loss of my baby I was still inundated with emails and mail advertising because of my information this app sold. It took months to stop receiving this after countless unsubscribes. Enfamil sent me a sample box in the mail that absolutely broke me. Their customer service (to complain about receiving the box) was a chat bot that wanted to make sure my loss wasn’t caused by their formula. I am also very grossed out that the app recommends at week 8 to sign up for a registry; conveniently theirs. This is a time of great risk of miscarriage and there is no reason a person needs to start a registry this early. It leaves opportunity for unnecessary heartache if a loss happens. As exciting as it is to use these apps and see the information they are providing about your pregnancy, see through the lines. They are using you.
Haraset,
Information is marginal, community is horrid
The app provides very little information to expectant mothers, a few short non-meaningful articles and the size of the baby as it develops. The videos are absolutely horrid. The email spam is ridiculous. The community, especially Hot Topics is an echo chamber for bitter, miserable women who will beat down anyone who do not agree with them politically. When I say echo chamber, it’s just that. Even to the point where some of the regulars create new accounts with different user names just to agree with themselves in a debate. WTE is obviously ran by people who are politically left, as they allow anyone with leftist ideology to bully and name call those who aren’t. It’s an extremely toxic environment - with women who have been around since the beginning of the App. Ugh. I don’t recommend this at all to anyone who actually wants to enjoy their pregnancy, stress free and untainted by the miserable musings of rich stay at home left leaning women who feel superior to everyone else. They have found a sounding board to spend their miserable lives in and cyber bully people who aren’t like them and then pat each other on the backs and comfort each other about what great sensitive caring people they are. Find something better to do, there are certainly more informative less ridiculous pregnancy apps out there.
