Awesome app, but....
I’m a math tutor and love this app, but suddenly one of my students is running into issues. She is working on Apple computers/laptops, and when she clicks on the link to launch our Board, it doesn’t load. She tries it from several diff computers... it will not work. Is there a preferred browser?
I use the app on my iPad Pro (new). Her laptop is a new apple laptop. There isn’t a help desk or any trouble shooting info anywhere

Update took a great app and ruined it
I am a professional tutor who has a lot of online clients, and I have been using LiveBoard for the last two years to work with my students. This is extremely important to me, because I teach math and science, and without the ability to collaborate on problems and use visuals, that teaching falls flat over the Internet. When I started using LiveBoard, it was the best digital whiteboard that I could find. However, the recent update at the beginning of the summer has left the app with an extremely annoying glitch... The whiteboard will detect my finger while I’m drawing, and immediately erase whatever I have been drawing as soon as I lift my finger from the tablet. This is most noticeable when I’m trying to draw small things, like hashmarks on the axis of a coordinate plane, or decimals in a number. This leaves me awkwardly trying to write or draw something multiple times over and over again in the middle of tutoring sessions. I’m not sure what to do, because I loved the previous version of LiveBoard, and comparable online whiteboards had their own issues that I didn’t like... LiveBoard used to work perfectly for me, and this would be a five star review if it were not for the recent update.

Glitchy and no support
Signed up for Pro subscription. Could not upload profile photo. Tried out app with a student. Audio/video conferencing didn’t work for either of us. Student could not see grid layout (graph paper) on her side and could not change this on her side. Slow to upload images, and there is quite a bit of lag time for the other person (who didn’t upload photo) before they can see images uploaded by another. I use an iPad pro and iPencil, which was fine but student had trouble getting drawings/writing to show up with regular iPad and a stylus. Not having a support portal or link is not cool especially when you are paying monthly $ for an app. Couldn’t find any documentation or support center online at all. App has potential, but needs some cleanup and more thought about flow and UX. Integrating Desmos for those who teach math would be very helpful. Expanded features are hopefully in the future...not many currently for the price.

If you are not technology savvy you may have problems. Says you can chat under the free program both users had their microphone on and nothing when you go to live chat says you have to upgrade, so unless someone can educate me on how to make it work on the free app I feel this is false advertising. Will try it out with my grandsons and see how it goes and reevaluate after a couple of weeks. Again anyone that can help explain to me how to get the chat to work on the free app I would appreciate it!

Love this app! So much potential!
I use this app to tutor math and it’s the best one I’ve found out there for real time collaboration via iPads. Admittedly, there are some aspects that can be smoothened out, but it gets the job done phenomenally.
For the developers: please keep developing this! A cleaned up version of this app would be absolutely fantastic for online teachers all around!!

Nice app
I’m a kid who just needs a board online so that i can show my work in school. I think this will help me a lot. I liked his app but i really think there could be more. For example, you could add more colors and more shades. You could also add more brushes.

New update has too many glitches
After importing an image, I am no longer able to move the image around the board after the initial placement. I can zoom in and out, but only on the center of the board, not on a desired location.
Also every once in a while portions of the board will become blank, the only way to restore the image is to undo or use the erase function to “erase” the blanks to reveal the image underneath.
This was a great app before the update, but if these issues are not addressed, I’ll have to find a different app

I am being forced to use this app for a project in a class. Unfortunately, it crashes every time I open, or shortly after, causing me to lose whatever work I have just done. The big new update that was supposed to address the crashing issue has done nothing to fix it, as far as I can tell.
I am really jealous of the other class participants who were given other whiteboard apps. Not only do theirs work, but they will get a passing grade on the assignment. I can’t do my work and will fail the assignment. Thanks for nothing.

Do yourselves a favor and do not use this whiteboard app. Got get Microsoft’s whiteboard and use it.

Beware of "new" memberships,
Not recognizing my Premium membership
I paid for a month of premium membership and it worked okay for about a week. But then LiveBoard rolled out these other paid options and it is not recognizing my paid membership. When I went to share a board with my classes today, it would not allow me to do so. It kept giving me the option to buy a different membership. I’ve reached out to them and heard nothing back and I was completely out of luck for my classes today.
